In the year 2150, humanity had achieved a harmonious balance with nature and technology. Cities are lush with greenery, powered by renewable energy, and societies thrived on principles of equality and innovation. Amidst this utopia lived Dr. Liora Hayes (Sharon Blynn), a brilliant scientist with a passion for history and a heart full of curiosity. Liora is kind-hearted, inquisitive, and adventurous. She has an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a deep fascination for the past. Even in times of peace when no one lacks anything, certain existential questions persist, and one of them gnaws at Liora: knowing the complexity of life before, at a time when everything seems a given. She developed a time travelling device, which looks like a car without wheels, she later equipped it with an invisibility device. And as the months and years passed she finally managed to bring her mission to fruition.
Liora later produced the time-travel machine, and with it, she embarked on some journeys to different eras. First of all, she decides to go to the time of medieval England, since she was a child this period had fascinated her.
Liora's first journey took her to the 12th century, to a small village nestled in the English countryside, near Scotland. There, she met Aldwin (Ewan Stewart), a local healer. Wise and constantly trying to connect nature to science. He is dedicated to helping his community with his knowledge of herbs and remedies against influenza and tuberculosis which both are striking the village of Aldwin. Liora assisted the latter in treating villagers, learning ancient healing techniques and sharing her own knowledge of modern medicine. Together, they saved many lives and Aldwin, as a thanks, gave her books and gives her feather pens to write with and brushes that had never been found despite numerous searches, books that were destroyed by time.
Liora's second journey transported her to the vibrant streets of Florence during the Renaissance. Here, she encountered Isabella (Aurora Giovinazzo), a talented young artist. She is imaginative and fierce. She dreams of creating art that will inspire and endure through the ages. Liora and Isabella collaborated on a series of paintings that blended Renaissance techniques with the pens that Aldwin gave to Liora. Among the works, Liora includes some anachronistic elements. Their work captivated the people of Florence, sparking a new wave of artistic innovation and leaving a long lasting legacy. Isabella, infinitely grateful, offers Liora many plans that she had made, describing machines improbable for the time.
Liora's final journey took her to the bustling city of London during the Industrial Revolution.
There, she met Thomas (Dean-Charles Chapman), an inventor. Ambitious, and driven by a desire to improve the lives of others through technology. He is always tinkering with new ideas but defective inventions. Liora and Thomas worked together to create machines that harnessed clean energy, laying the ground work for a more sustainable future due to the drawings of Isabella. Their inventions revolutionized industry and improved the quality of life for countless people as time passed. Thomas present all of their work at Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Not knowing what to do for the dismissed one, Thomas asks Liora what he could do for her. Liora simply answers «innovate». Smile on the face, Liora returned to the time-travelmachine.
After her journeys, Liora returned to her own time, somewhat disconcerted by her experience. She puts away Aldwin's books and brushes and Isabella's drawings and diagrams. She documented her adventures, writing her time-travelling adventure on a document. As she prepares to conclude her thesis, she stops, folds her hands and looks at the time-travel device.
