Agony was then going to bite his head off but was shot in the back as she tossed trace away and bit down on the one who shot her biting his head clean off as the police arrived, Agony then ran for it as thanks to her extreme speed she broke into the river swimming extremely fast that and only a few seconds stopped at an ocean buoy as she turned back to Ava, who was still a little in shock from what had happened as she sat down as the symbiotes formed their heads on both her shoulders to look at her
Ava: agony what should I tell you about biting people's heads off
Agony: Let's be fair. Any symbiote would do it in a situation like that
Ava: Yeah… fair point
Lasher: Just fuel for the tank. Listen carefully, Ava. You never found us, we found you. Think of yourself as my ride, we need Carlton Drake's rocket. You remember him?
Ava: Are you gonna eat anybody else?
Lasher: Most likely. That is why we are here. Cooperate, and you might just survive. That is the deal
Later they made it back to the city and luckily none of those guys or police were there, as they were making it back home due to her bike being wrecked during the chase, it was then they walked beside a tall building and looked up at it, and before she knew it Lasher formed over her body instead and climbed up the building and got up top before looking around the city
Lasher: It is peaceful up here. Your world is not so ugly after all, I'm almost sorry to see it end
Ava: Hold on, what is that supposed to mean?
It was then that a plane flew overhead and the loud noise freaked the symbiote out causing him to retreat inside Ava's body who slipped off the building though she then stopped to see Agony's hand latched onto the side of the building
Agony: I got us
Agony then busted through a window and returned her inside as she went to get elevator while not drawing attention
Ava: You're seriously gonna get me killed one day
Lasher: You die, we die
Ava: Yeah, well, you can always just shed my carcass and exchange it for another one whenever you need
Lasher: Why would I do that? You are far too good of a match to throw away so soon. Plus, I am starting to like you. I can see why Agony decided to stick around for so long
Ava: Well thank you
Ava then found the elevator and took it down only to be greeted by a SWAT team when she exited as she put her hands up
SWAT leader: Hands! On the ground! Now!
Ava: Guys, you do not want to do this. Trust me
SWAT leader: Mask!
SWAT member: Copy!
Ava: All right, have it your own way. Mask!
Lasher: Copy!
Lasher then formed on her body with bladed tendrils sprouting from their back as the bullets didn't do anything
SWAT member: What the hell is that thing?
Lasher looked towards the one SWAT member still conscious and grabbed him with a tendril and lifting him over his head and opening his maw
Ava: No, Lasher! We do not eat policemen!
They then heard something and looked over to see Kate Ava's best friend from school cuz she was going to run before Ava turned back to normal and called her back
Kate: Oh, what the hell is that?
Ava: That's not me. I've been infected
Kate: Ava, what's happening?
Ava: They're inside me.
Kate: "They"?
Ava: I know it sounds crazy, but...
Kate: You're sick, you're really sick
Ava: No, Kate, I am scared. And… I need your help
Kate: Jack's Father is a doctor. Come with me
Ava: I can't go with you. It's not safe
Kate: Yes you can, come on
Lasher: I like her. Go on
Ava was then in the backseat of Kate's car as they were driving Ava to the hospital
Kate: We just need to get an MRI scan
Symbiotes: No! No MRI!
Ava: Why not?
Agony: Sound at 4,000 to 6,000 hertz is lethal
Ava: Sound frequency in the MRI can kill them
Kate: What, so, sound is like their kryptonite?
Ava: Not all sounds
Agony: And fire
Ava: Fire. And fire
Kate: They're talking to you?
Ava: Well Lasher doesn't talk much but Agony never really shuts up
Kate: Are you in pain?
Ava: No. No, I don't feel anything, actually
Kate: So, what happened back there was…
Ava: They were just keeping me safe. They can't survive without a human host
Soon they made it to the hospital as Jack gave them the news on what was happening
Ava: So, am I, Ava, am I dying?
Agony: No!
Kate: You're killing her
Agony: They don't know what they are talking about
Jake: Listen, we don't have a lot of time...
Agony took over an arm and started to choke Jack as she never really liked him in the first place and to protect them, though Kate pushed a button to start the MRI causing Ava to stumble in the room as both symbiotes jumped out as Jack closed the glass
Kate: Are you all right? Ava, I'm sorry. I had to get them out of you
Jack: What the hell?
Ava: You were killing me? After all these years. What happened to "we," man? What happened to "we"? Sorry but, I need to go
Kate: No, Ava wait! You don't think we have a little problem on our hands?
Jack: Wait, you're not gonna leave me here with these things? You want to tell me what the hell's going on?
Kate: I do. And you're right. We do need to talk about it, but I don't know much more than you do. I guess he had no one else to turn to
Jack: Well I guess, we need to find out what we have to do with those things
Kate: Jack. *whispering* Where did they go?
Ava was walking to the elevator as when she opened it she saw Treece before she was shot with a taser gun and blacked out
