SUNSET LOOKING NICE TODAY

Early hours of the sun rays shined through the curtain as i fixed my bed. Today was it. Sweet, early 12's. Ever since i started live with Dana (no offense she is really boring) i wanted to go camping at the West Priestre mountains with my bestfriends. Now let me tell you a bit about Dana: She has a really sweet personality and possibly one of the most innocent people i've ever met. She is my only and biggest cousin. I really love her but some times she acts like my mom-.. No offense she is really annoying when she gets mad. Couldnt really do anything about it. I was just a newly 12 year old really annoying boy.

I let off a yawn slip my mouth again and rubbed my eyes, slipping out of the ground which ive been laying and having intense chemistry by having a stare competition with the wall for the past ten minutes. Dana was 19 and we were staying at a small cabin at a beautiful town called Priestre. Priestre was famous for its gorgeous mountains which i mentoined before. My parents passed away when i was 9. Dana never told me the reason tho. Nobody did. Dana had a big fight with my aunt about Danas future and marriage so Dana ran away. Where we met and decided to live here.

I silently stepped out my room and looked at Dana who was busy cooking some chicken for breakfast. She really loved cooking but lets be truthful here she cooks terribly. "Whose that chicken for?" I ask, my voice coming out sarcastic. She looked back at me and huffed. "For you dummy! You need to think." Not to mention she has no sense of sarcasm.

Dana finished cooking her chicken proudly and slipped it off to the plate "Here you go." She smiled warmly. "Happy birthday, you are now a young man!" I shrugged off and grinned smugly. "Now c'mon you say that every damn year." She smiled sitting next to me and eating her chicken. "I aint kidding this year young man." "Stop calling me that will you?!" She smirked and laughed, nudging my arm. I cleared my throat and looked back at her in a serious voice. "Sooooo-... What do you thing about my request to the-" "No" She said quietly eating her chicken. I huffed and looked away. "Whyyy? You sad you'd let me when i was 12!" She looked down calmly and back at me. "You are too reckless to sleep at a forest by yourself." I accidentally raised my voice a bit. "I am not alone! Pete and Marlin will be with me!" "Still a no." She wasnt bugging. "Danaa!"

When i realized she wasnt responding i huffed and spoke. "I am going to skate withMarlin." I angrily got off the table and left the cabin. Yes maybe i was a jerk but believe me. Its so frustrating how Dana doesnt let me have any proper fun. Just to skate sometimes. She doesnt let me go at the mountains, especially at night.

I grabbed my skate board and left to go find Marlin. Marlin was bestest friend. Ever since i moved here at Priestre he was with me and we hanged out and became friends really quickly. He was my bro and  was willing to sacrifice my every power for him.

I soon got to Marlin. Marlins family was really, really rich and wealthy. But he doesnt really like his parents that much. He likes his little sister Aria. Aria is two years younger than us. I never got to meet her because she has cancer and stays at a private hospital that Marlins family arranged so that she has a nice and proper medication and treatment. However i did hear about aria. He blabbers about how nice Aria actually is and stuff. 

"Sup man! Happy birthday." He smiled at me smackng my back. I smiled back at him. "Thanks bro. I asked Dana for whole camping stuff..." Marlin looked up at me. Even tho he was older i was taller then him. "Anddd what did she say?" I sigh looking up at the pretty grey clouded sky. "She said she just didnt like the 'sleeping'alone at night'thing. We kinda had a fight before i came here." I managed to crack a smile as he sat down at the grass and huffed. "Hey stop worrying too much about it dude. Its fine if we dont go, ok?" Marlin was a really sweet boy with blonde hair and greenish eyes. His puffy and red cheeks had dimples when he smiled. "You wanna go for a round?" He looked up at me and smiled. "Heck yea. Race start." We loved to race, seeing whose the fastest but we never even meaned anything. It was all a harmless race and it was totally friendly, right? Well it did sometimes end up with broken ribs and bleeding knees when we got too fast and bumped to each other but i really liked racing with him.

After our sixth race we layed at the grass, covered in dirt and sweat, laughing our heart out. "You shouldve seen your face when you fell to cow poop!" He laughed more as i looked to his eyes and stick out my tounge. Just then i had a call from Dana. I sighed opening my phone and answering her. "Whats up Dana?" Silence. I could her a shuffling noise silently coming from the line of the call. "Dana? Whats up? You there?" And a blood curling scream made me and Marlins face go pale. If it werent for Marlin i wouldve ran to the cabin with full force but i had to wait his lazy head telling me to calm down.

I barged to the cabin to see Dana at the corner of the living room, screaming with smoke coming out of the kitchen. She burned the bread. Of course... I quickly grab some water and stop the fire looking at Dana with a unimpressed look. "Seriously Dana? And i thought i was the childish one." Dana seemed horrified a huge burn mark on her arm. I crouched down to her level and touched her arm, sighing loudly. Seriously? "Dana, go clean yourself up. And be quick while i clean this mess." Me and Marlin helped Dana clean the house around. It didnt seem like a normal cook burn to me but i decided to keep silent about it.

I thanked Merlin as he left. I turned to Dana. "Dana?" She looked up at me with teary eyes. "I am so sorry.. I failed as your guardian..." I was now not only frustrated and also beyond confused. "What do you mean Dana?" She burst to tears not speaking. I sigh and gently hugged her. "Whats wrong? Tell me." "You will see... and you will hate me.." Great! Dana totaly ruined another precious birthday of mine.

It has been a week till that incident with Dana and she was really distant. Heading to university early and not dropping me off like usual. One day i waswalking home from school, clutching at my backpack and staring up, i got another call from Dana. My eye brows raise in surprise. She was supposed to be at class. I opened. "Dana?","Come here. Now." Her voice was really shaky and serious. "Dana? Are you at home?" "COME HOME QUICKLY!" Her voice flinched me. I quickly hanged up and walked faster to the cabin. When i got there i saw black cars out of our cabin. I quickly rushed in.

My eyes widened seeing Dana pinned on the bed crying with some govrment men holding her, my stuff picked up... It turns out Dana was too 'young to babysit me' so they were saving her back to her mom, my auntie and me to the child foster home. I couldnt believe my ears. I ran out of the cabin with tears staining my eyes. With all my force i ran up to the hill Marlin and me always hanged out and found nice spot. I curled to a ball and sobbed.

 And i heard a small creak sound. My body went stiff as my pupils dialated to see who was with me. "W-who-... Whose there?" My voice came out low and hoarse. I saw a girl with platin blonde hair and really pretty light blue eyes look at me. She looked-.. super pretty. "Hello..." She spoke calmly. She was wearing a pink shirt and white pants with slippers... She seemed really similar but i really didnt think about it. My mind drifted off to Dana... I sobbed again. I felt her come closer and open my hand. I stared at her confusedly. She put a small lotus flower in my palm and closed it. "Smell it. It helps me to relax. It wıll help you relax too. Dont worry." She cracked a smile. So did i. "I've never seen you in Priestre before. Did you move new?" She looked down and sighed. "I need to go now. Goodbye." She hurried off quickly.

I sighed and called Marlin. "Hey man-..." He was shocked to see my tear stained face. "What the heck happened?!" I huff looking down. "Come at the hills. I got something to tell you." "Me too man! My sister Aria came back from the hospital!" I smile "Thats great man. Bring her and we will meet too. But come quick. I need to say something really important."

5 minutes later Marlin came followed by that girl i saw earlier... "Marlin is this-..." He grinned proudly "Yep! Thats my pretty sister! She fought cancer!" "O-oh... Cool. Im Ethan."
