Bonnie pulled up after work, it was 1AM but the party was still raging. She sighed and lit a cig, shuffling out of her car. She could hear the eye-piercing music and loud shouting already. This was gonna be one long night. She was starting to wish she was on a closing shift...
She walked in to find Peep in the hall doing shots, girls surrounded him from every angle. One was kissing up on his neck while others danced up against him. She laughed, he was having a good time.
His eyes lit up and he grinned wider than she thought possible.
“Boo!”
“Peep!” She mocked, seriously, how fucked was he right now? He was swaying on the spot, eyes dancing all over her body. She was still wearing her work uniform - a tight black button up shirt and a short black skirt. She always left the top few buttons undone and rolled her already small pleated skirt, more tips that way.
“You look really good.”
“I'm in my uniform, Gus.”
Her uniform drove him mad every time he saw it.
“I know. I seen it before.” He grinned, “Come on,” he reached his hand out through the crowd, taking hold of hers. He pulled her through the swarm of girls, “Let me get you a drink.” He turned his back now, brushing off the dancing girls, “I’ll catch ya’ll later.”
“Yo, fuck.” One of them mumbled, “Is that his new bitch?”
“I thought he ain't have one right now.”
“Who's that then?”
“Peep, what are you doing?” She laughed while he dragged her through the crowds.
“I'm getting you a drink.”
“No, I mean brushing off your fangirls back there. Go back and get that pussy.”
“Nah. I like chilling with you better.”
“You're crazy.”
He looked down at her, still grinning like a kid in a candy shop. She was closer to him now, so close she could see the white powder around his nose.
“Crazy for you.”
“You're fucking cringy.”
“You like it, really.”
“I like laughing at it, yes.”
He shrugged, “Tom-a-to, tomat-o.” he led them into the kitchen where Tracy and a crowd were doing lines off the counter. Peep poured Bonnie what she assumed to be some sort of lethal concoction, before making his own and dropping a pill in, it fizzed and hissed when it hit the mixture.
“Yo, little Bo!” Tracy smiled, “How was work?” He shouted over the noise.
“It was shit.”
“Oh. Want some?” He gestured to the lines he'd set out.
She looked up at Peep who was already nodding eagerly.
Work had been beyond awful, she was fed up with scummy old men making passes at her every time she made a drink, and she had the odd sense of dread filling her stomach at the thought of peep going back tomorrow. She hated to admit it, but she knew she was gonna miss him.
“Fuck it, why not?” She shrugged, stepping through the crowds, her hand still in Peeps.
Tracy laughed, "Shit, you going for it tonight, Bo." His eyes met Peeps, "Keep an eye on her man."
"I would anyway." He smirked, eyes lazily scanning over her, "I always do."
"Hey!" Tracy snapped, "Hey, none of that shit."
