Playing the role of the doting girlfriend seemed exhausting.

It was nothing about how they treated her, or how they spoke to her. It was all she could dream of in a relationship.

It always made her feel bad that she never felt for Raine what they felt for her.

Raine was asleep under her, arms around her lower back. She glanced at the time, knowing Ellie would wake up any time soon.

She began to sit up, her hands landing on their chest.

Seeing their chest rise and fall slowly made her sigh. It all seemed unfair to her. Shed always thought Raine was cute, but those feelings just never came up with her.

Raine's eyes slowly fluttered open, beginning to smile at her lovingly. "Hey Mama's, you look like an angel"

Eda chuckled softly. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you had a crush on me, whispers," she teased, carding her fingers through their hair.

Raines cheeks turned pink with a smile growing.

She was straddling them her hair falling around her head Chaoticlly. She brushed her hair behind her ear.

Soon she heard the pitter-patter of tiny feet on her floor, making her turn her head to see Ellie walking towards her.

Eda moved off of Raine and stood up to grab Ellie. "See a nap isn't that bad?" She said, stroking her hair.

Ellie whined, hugging Eda tightly.

She never imagined she would be toting a toddler around her house but assumed it was necessary since she waddled everywhere.

Raine watched her with a smile on their face.

She was becoming somebody's mother, and it was beautiful to see that side of her come out.

Sorry, this chapter is short. I've had writer's block all week. And wanted to get something out to you guys.

I pinky promise Raeda is the end game and Ellie is the key✨
