The news of Xia Wan officially joining the company spread in the office building, and her colleagues congratulated her, praising her for her

"excellent internship performance"

and

"appreciation from the company's top management".

However, only she herself knew that all this was the result of her carefully planned revenge.

She calmly accepted her colleagues' congratulations with a gentle smile on her face, as if the past had never happened.

In the core department of this company, she was no longer a nobody, but had solidified her position as a real employee.

She was also well aware that the ripples that Lin Kai and Lily Zhao's affair had set off in the company had yet to subside, and the vacancies they had left behind had created quite a bit of turmoil within the department.

Xia Wan knew deep down that this was her chance to rise to the top.

After the transfer, Xia Wan was transferred to the core project management department.

This department is responsible for the company's important projects and is usually staffed only by senior employees, but because of Lin Kai's departure and Zhao Lily's transfer, there is a shortage of talent in the department, and she is unexpectedly given the opportunity to be in charge of a small project.

The pressure of her new position was even greater than she had imagined, and her coworkers, though enthusiastic on the surface, were actually quite skeptical of the newcomer's abilities. She worked overtime every day to learn and absorb new knowledge, and she gradually felt new challenges and pressure in the midst of her heavy workload.

She realizes that her revenge doesn't mean it's all over, and that there's a bigger competition ahead of her.

In the course of the project, Xia Wan's supervisor, Manager Chen, transfers her to work with a senior project supervisor, Li Heng. Li Heng has a cold personality and is known as a demanding and unapproachable person in the company.

He treats newcomers very harshly and shows little mercy.

At the first project meeting, Xia Wan reported the project progress in detail, thinking that she had done a thorough job, but she didn't expect Li Heng to interrupt her coldly:

"You don't have a deep enough understanding of the project objectives, and the data analysis is not in place. A simple listing is meaningless, the key lies in how to transform the data into an effective basis for decision-making."

Xia Wan's heart tightened, knowing that her understanding of the project was not deep enough, and Li Heng's bluntness embarrassed her a bit, but she quickly adjusted her mindset and responded sincerely,

"Supervisor Li, you are right. I will further comb through the data to provide a more accurate basis for the next decision."

Li Heng nodded slightly, a hint of approval in his eyes, but still serious:

"I hope you won't make a similar mistake next time."

Xia Wan took a deep breath and told herself not to back down.

She had to prove herself in this new starting point, and Li Heng would be her first step in honing herself.

After several exchanges with Li Heng, Xia Wan realized that her way of thinking still needed to be adjusted, and that the mere planning of means was not enough to gain a foothold in the new arena.

She gradually shifted her focus to the project itself, analyzing data and writing reports all night long, and putting forward many innovative suggestions for the project.
