Y/n's Pov

I was quietly reading my book,Until I heard my father yelling. But I just ignored him. Which was a bad mistake.

Just a couple moments later my father burst into my room. "You! You dumb child! Didn't I say to cook dinner?!" He yells and grabs my ear basically dragging me towards the kitchen.

"Ow! F-father that hurts please let me go!" I pleased but he doesn't liten. "Father! Didn't you hear Y/n? Your hurting her!" Sanemi steps in father's way.

"Move it kid" father said and pushed sanemi."Cook dinner now!" Father yells at me."o-okay!" I said

After I'm done cooking I shout that the food is ready and six hungry kids came running in the dinner room, followed by Sanemi and Genya, behind them was father and mother.

We all sit on the ground and begin to eat our food.
"It's so tasty Y/n!" My little sister, sumi says and I smiled.

Once we are done my father makes me pick up the dishes and clean them

"Don't worry father I'll cleaned them" Sanemi says.
"Did I ask you? No, now sit down" father says harshly. "It's fine Sanemi" I smiled at him and he nods.

Time skip-

The next morning came, and I worked up to hear my father yelling at everybody. I'm used to this, as usual I get ready and walked out my room.

"Calm down please!" Mother begs. "You dumb bitch!" My father hits my mother.

'w-whats going on?'

"M-mother!" I yell worried, "I-Im fine just go to your room" she weakly smiled. "Y/n, father is drunk get inside the room" Sanemi puts a hand on my shoulder.

"But mother?" I said, "Didn't you hear him?! Go to your godamn room!" Father yells at me and throws his beer bottle straight to my head.

"Y/n!" Sanemi says. I then passed out.

Time skip-

A few days has passed and father has been hitting us for no reason.

But this day father went somewhere but he didn't come back.

We received a letter saying that father was stabbed by someone.

And now it's only me, Sanemi, Genya, our six younger siblings and mother.

Now that father was gone I was able to read my book.
I actually love reading. That's one of the ways I learned how to cook.

I always thought my cooking was bad, but my siblings and mother said it was wonderful! That made me so happy to hear.

But mother has been working hard trying to save up money.

"Onii-chan!" I ran towards Sanemi and hugged him. "Woah! Hello there Y/n!" Sanemi says.

"Look look!" I pulled out a flower crown behind my back. "Is that for me?" Sanemi points at the crown

"Mhm!" I nodded rapidly. He chuckles and leans down for I can put the flower crown on his head.

"Thank you Y/n, now I have to help Genya" Sanemi rufles my hair and walks away.

Time skip-

I woke up by something shuffling. I sat up rubbing my eye. "Sorry did we wake you?" Genya whisper's

I open my eyes to see Genya and Sanemi. "No, but where are you going nemi?" I said.

"Checking for mother, she hasn't came back yet" Sanemi answers. "She hasn't? Isn't it the middle of the night?" I said

"I'll just go and walk around" Sanemi said opening the door. "Okay be careful" me and Genya say at the same time.

"Yeah" Sanemi said walking out.

Suddenly I heard tiny laughers. "Hi Genya and
Y/n" our younger siblings smiles. "Your not sleeping?" Genya ask.

"Nope we couldn't sleep" they said.

"Y/n, Y/n! I want you to hold me!" Sumi said jumping on my arms while, my youngest brother in Genya arms.

After a while Sanemi hasn't come back yet worrying me and Genya.

Then we saw a figure approaching the door.

My siblings noticed it and thinks it was mother so they ran towards the door.

"W-wait I don't think-" before Genya can finished the door breaks and the glass kills out siblings.

Some glass went on me scratching me.

I heard Genya scream, and the thing runs inside the room.

'is it a demon?' I thought, I have read books written about demons.

The demon looks at me and Genya, but before it can attack us Sanemi jumps on the demon protecting us.

"Genya y/n! Get out of here!" Sanemi shouts, and takes the demon outside.

This was too much for me...the next thing I knew was that I passed out.

I slowly open my eyes to see the sun hitting my face. I groan and look around seeing our dead siblings,blood everywhere and glass all over the floor.

But where's Sanemi and Genya? Did they left me? No they wouldn't...right?

I start to shout for their name but I get no answer.

I collapse on the ground as tears roll down my face. 'genya, Sanemi where are you?'
