The chapel was a haven of serenity, nestled amidst a sprawling garden that whispered with the gentle rustle of leaves and the soft chirping of birds. Sunlight streamed through stained-glass windows, casting kaleidoscopic patterns on the polished stone floor. The air was thick with the scent of pink peonies and yellow tulips, a fragrant reminder of the joyous occasion.

The chapel itself was intimate, with vaulted ceilings that seemed to reach for the heavens and walls adorned with intricate carvings. A simple altar, draped in white linen, stood at the far end, bathed in a soft, ethereal glow. The pews were made of dark, polished wood, worn smooth by the passage of time and countless prayers.

Taehyung straightened his tie, his heart pounding frantically against his ribs. He was about to marry Kim SeokJin, his long-time crush, who had haunted his dreams since childhood. Seokjin the CEO of the renowned anti-hacking system, "Firewall," was a man of quiet intensity. He was the silent guardian of South Korea's digital infrastructure, a legend in the tech world, yet his demeanor was unassuming, even shy. He was the kind of man who could disarm you with a gentle smile and a soft voice, but his eyes, behind those designer spectacles, held a steely resolve.

And of course, the World Wide Handsome in his suit...

Taehyung looked at the aisle stretched before him, a path leading to his happily ever after. He fondly recalled the shy boy he and his parents had visited in childhood, with a mischievous grin and eyes full of youthful spark that had captivated his heart. Jin, a delicate figure with eyes reminiscent of a deer in the woods, preferred the company of books over noisy games, finding solace in tales of distant lands and fantastical creatures. Taehyung remembered their early days when he was just five and Jin twelve, sneaking peeks into Jin's room as the older boy lost himself in books by the window. Enchanted by Jin's enigmatic charm and passion for stories, Taehyung yearned to uncover the magic that whisked Jin away into realms of endless imagination.

Now, the weight of the moment settled upon him, a bittersweet symphony of anticipation and trepidation. He was about to take the biggest leap of his life, a leap of faith into a future that he thought promised a lifetime of happiness. He looked down at his hands, his fingers gently caressing the velvety petals of a bouquet of purple lilies and white roses, his favorite colors. The delicate fragrance of the lilies mingled with the sweet scent of the roses, a symphony of aromas that mirrored the emotions swirling within him.

Soon the music swelled, signaling the start of the wedding. As Taehyung walked down the aisle, his hand clinging to his father's arm, his gaze never leaving Jin, who stood side by side with his brother Jungkook, acting as the best man. Taehyung felt a surge of warmth wash over him. He was so happy, so incredibly lucky. He couldn't believe this was happening.

He reached the altar, his eyes locking with Jin's. The silence stretched between them, a tense, unspoken conversation. Taehyung wanted to reach out, to touch Jin's face, to feel the warmth of his skin against his own. But he held back, his nerves tingling with anticipation. As soon as his father handed him to Jin, Taehyung's hand felt strangely warm in Jin's grasp. He glanced up at Jin, whose face was cold and stoic, not even looking at him.

The minister started the ceremony. "Welcome everyone to the wedding of Jeon Seokjin and Kim Taehyung. It's a joy to be here today to celebrate their love and commitment to one another." The words of the minister echoed through the chapel, but Jin seemed almost detached from the proceedings.

Seokjin stood there, a serene expression on his face, yet his eyes betrayed a lack of engagement. His hands were loosely clasped in front of him, and he periodically glanced around the room, his gaze lingering on the ornate decorations rather than on his partner.

"As we gather here today, let's reflect on the journey that has led Jin and Taehyung to this beautiful moment," the minister continued, trying to draw the focus back to the couple. Jin's attention drifted, and he barely registered the minister's words.

The minister invited the couple to join hands. Jin extended his hand mechanically, his grip light and indifferent. Taehyung squeezed his hand gently, seeking some form of connection, but Jin's response was minimal.

"Do you, Jeon Seokjin, take Kim Taehyung to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, for better or worse, from this day forward, until death do you part?" The minister's voice carried a hopeful tone.

"I do," Jin replied, his voice steady but devoid of emotion, as if he were reciting a line rather than making a vow.

"And do you, Kim Taehyung, take Jeon Seokjin to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, for better or worse, from this day forward, until death do you part?" the minister asked.

Taehyung's "I do" was filled with earnest emotion, contrasting starkly with Jin's earlier response.

"By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and husband. You may kiss."

Jin leaned in for the kiss, his movements controlled and deliberate, but lacking the passion one would expect. The guests applauded, their cheers filling the chapel, but to Jin, it all seemed like a distant echo.

As they turned to face the crowd, Jin put on a polite smile, one that didn't quite reach his eyes. He played his part well, but inside, he felt like a mere spectator in his own life.
