2- A Village Backstory

Delor wasn't always a poor village. It was when we found a special rare gem; the Gitax, that neighboring villages went to war with us. It was Delor's first official battles; so we had a low chance of winning. And that's what happened. But the neighboring villages didn't stop at just the gem, they took everything of value. Children were kidnapped, villagers robbed of their money and valuables, and there was not enough defense to protect villagers. About a quarter of our village died in the war, several kidnapped. I was a child when the war ended, but old enough to realize what a sad thing it is. I am very lucky to have both my parents, but sometimes I wonder about my ability to fight. I always keep daggers in my room, in case something happens.  My father has taught me to fight, while my mother teaches me about different food sources; in case I need to run away or escape. My mother is a Libra, and my father is a Pisces. But what about me? Have the gods forgotten me? What is the purpose of not having a zodiac? I have so many questions.
