Ji-Hoon faced the aggressors and said, "ya.. Why are you mistreating your juniors.. Just move to your class." To everyone's surprise, the seniors complied and left without saying a word. Taehyung and Jimin exchanged confused glances.
Ji-Hoon approached them and said, "Hello, juniors. I'm Ji-Hoon from the second year." Taehyung and Jimin bowed and introduced themselves. Jimin said, "Thanks for helping us. I thought Taehyung and I would get in trouble today." Ji-Hoon laughed and replied, "It's no big deal. They always cause trouble for people like you." He noticed Jimin's soiled uniform and added, "Oh, it looks like your uniform got stained by them." Jimin looked down at his uniform and tried to wipe it with his hands. "No, I'll just wash it in the restroom," he replied.
Jihoon moved closer to Jimin to examine his uniform. "Hmm... those stains don't look like they will come out with just one wash. I think I have an idea. Come with me," he said, dragging Jimin along. Jimin, in turn, pulled Taehyung with him.
Jihoon led them to his locker and took out a hoodie. "Here, take my hoodie," he offered. Jimin's eyes widened in surprise. "No, sunbaenim, that's unnecessary. I can wash mine," he replied.
Jihoon insisted, "Hey, it's really cold outside. You'll catch a cold if you sit around in wet clothes. Just take this and put it on."
Gratefully, Jimin accepted the hoodie from Jihoon.
While Jimin was changing his uniform in the restroom, Taehyung and Jihoon waited outside. Jihoon asked Taehyung, "So you guys are in the Entertainment and Media department, right?" Taehyung nodded in response. Jihoon continued, "What does your father do for a living?" Taehyung looked down, hesitating to answer. "He...he is a farmer," he finally said. Jihoon responded, "A farmer..." Taehyung glanced at him before looking down again and confirmed, "Yes."
Jihoon said, "You should be proud to be the son of a farmer. Why are you hesitating to say it". Taehyung's eyes filled with surprise, he had never heard such a response from anyone before. People usually made fun of him for his background, but he found Jihoon to be a truly good person. "Yes, I feel very proud of it, but my friends used to make fun of me, so I don't want anyone to know" Taehyung replied.
Taehyung felt very happy listening to Jihoon. Curiously, he asked "What does your father do, sunbaenim" Jihoon nodded, "Well, he is the CEO of Kim Medicals." Taehyung was shocked to hear that. "What.. Your father is the CEO of Kim Medicals..". Jihoon nodded again.
"Really.. but.. but you don't look like it, sunbaenim. You seem so simple," Taehyung was very surprised. Jihoon laughed and said, "Do you want me to have a few bodyguards with me to prove that I'm his son"
Taehyung shook his head and said, "No, sunbaenim, I didn't mean that. I was just wondering why you seem so humble. Usually, people with money act like they own the world, but you come across as down-to-earth. I'm really glad to have a senior like you."
Jihoon laughed and placed one hand on Taehyung's shoulder. "No, Taehyung-ah, I actually like to live like this. My way of living is very simple."
Taehyung replied, "Wow, Sunbae, you are so cool!"
While Taehyung and Jihoon were talking, Jimin came out of the restroom after changing his uniform. The uniform was too large for him, making him look as though he was sinking in it. He walked over to them.
Jihoon was the first to notice Jimin and burst into laughter. Taehyung turned around to see what had made Jihoon laugh and spotted Jimin wearing an oversized hoodie. "Wow... Jimin, you look like a kid in that hoodie!" Taehyung exclaimed, joining Jihoon in laughter.
Jimin furrowed his brows and yelled at Taehyung, "Hey! Don't laugh! I knew it would be oversized for me after seeing his height, which is why I said I didn't want to wear it..." He pouted his lips, clearly displeased.
