I was woken up but an over excited Susan.
"Come on lets go! I just got permission to see my family who live here in Onsy."
"What does that have to do with you waking me up at 7:00 in the morning. Today we have a relaxation day and I want to sleep in." I complained.
"Well if you don't want to come with me that fi." Susan said but she got cut off by me.
"WHAT!" Susan just smiled at me.
"You can come to if you want." She said trying not to laugh
"I can!"
"And later I'm going to Pierre." said Susan than realising her mistake.
"So that's his name." I said. I've finally found out the name of Mr Mystery.
"So how is Pierre." I said, trying out the name.
"He is waiting for me at Uncle Françios' house. Now lets go!"
Susan dragged me across the room.
"Wait. I need to get dressed first!"
"Well hurry up. I texted them saying we'll be arriving soon and we have to go to the bakery first and pick up some sandwiches they ordered. I offered to pick them up. My aunt will pay me back while we're there so all is well."
"Susan give me 10 minutes."
"Fine, but hurry up." was her only reply. She left the room I started snoring through my suitcase. What to wear that would give the right impression. The impression of someone who isn't trying to impress. I decided on an aqua blue green shirt with winged sleeves. Around the collar are black roses. It's one of my favourite shirts to wear in summer. With it I wore a short, white denim skirt perfect for summer. This outfit was similar to Susan's since we both has similar tastes for clothes. I brushed me hair and was putting it into a high ponytail to keep my hair off my neck in the heat when Susan barged in looking like she was about to murder someone.
"I hate you Sir." she was muttering under her breath. "I don't care what you think I'm going. I know more about the streets here then all of you put together!" She said her voice rising louder and louder.
"Susan calm down." I said. "What's going on?"
"Sir's what's going on. Do you know how important family is to us in this village. Exactly!" She said without waiting for a reply. Susan continued to ramble on. I find this is the best for her to let of steam in an way that isn't very physical. I thought about what she said about family being important around here. Yet another thing that the French surprise me with. This country has more depth then I first though. I hate to admit it but I do admire them for this depth they have. It's ...... welcoming. Susan's aunt was going to let me come over and have lunch with them. I've never even met them before and they're letting me over with Susan for lunch?! I like that quality fir trust they have in their future generations unlike the treatment I get at home. I had to beg on my hands and knees literally to come on this trip and I almost didn't make it. Thank god I did though. I'm glad we made it to France.
