"Y/ N wake up" i heard a voice shout, "no go away" i replied half asleep. Last night i was up till 3am studying for  N.E.W.T.s  i was exhausted. Still asleep someone jumped on me waking me up fully "ugh what do you want" i sighed "Y/N you're going to be late for potions if you don't get up!" the recognisable voice shouts. I jumped out my bed rushing to my bathroom, i quickly locked the door and got undressed to jump in the shower,i washed my black hair with my favourite vanilla shampoo and my body with the exact same smelling body wash after all that i got out the shower and made my way back into the room where the unknown person i now know is my best friend Holly Noble sprawled out in my bed. She looked at me and started to giggle. "It's not funny!" i stated "well i did try wake you up you just didn't listen" she replied while trying to cover her grin. Holly was one of those people that lightened up every room she went into, Holly had bright ocean blue eyes where as i had dark brown nearly black, she also had silky golden hair, i have to say we are the complete opposites but thats why we connected instantly.I hurried to my wand and cast a spell to dry my hair and put my Slytherin uniform on. I also went to my vanity to put a light coverage of makeup on which included concealer to hide my visible dark bags from all the late nights studying and a swipe of mascara and lip gloss,after i did this Holly grabbed my arm " come on your going to make us more late than we already are"

Me and Holly finally made it to potions after being 15minuets late, We walked in and everyone's eyes turned to us. I turned to professor Slughorn "i am so sorry we're late it's all my fault" i said not wanting Holly landing in detention because of me professor Slughorn just nodded and started to speak " i admire your honesty Y/N i won't give you a detention this time because your one of my best students make sure that is doesn't happen again." he replied, i turned to look at Holly and realised she wasn't there, i scanned the room to look for her then my eyes landed on her she gave me a guilty smiled my face scrunched up in confusion but then professor Slughorn started to speak again "miss L/N you'll be sitting with Mr Riddle" i turned towards the students and spotted the one i was looking for. Tom Riddle he glared at me i turned around and sheepishly smiled at professor and walked to the seat i was assigned. As i was walking to my seat someone stuck there foot out and made me trip,one minute i was walking and the next boom i was one the floor. Everyone started to laugh and i got up quickly and turned to see who had tripped me, I was met with the cold eyes of Avery "Watch your step Mudblood" He spat, Wow that was nice of him i hastily walked away and to my seat. I sat down with a huff and looked at Tom, surprisingly he was already looking at me, he glared again " what is this man's problem" i mumbled.

Professor Slughorn was talking away, normally i loved this lesson but right now i am exhausted and just wanted to sleep i put my head on the desk and started to fall asleep but then i felt a tap on my shoulder it was Tom i looked up at him and he just pointed i gazed down to see what he was pointing at and then i saw my leg covered in blood i new i fell on something sharp but didn't bother to check. I couldn't feel the pain before but now i've noticed it, it hurt really bad. I put my hand up to be excused but Tom reached up to put my hand down. " Riddle what are you doing" i said quietly so i didn't disturb Slughorns lesson "we only have 2 minutes left to the end of lesson there's not point of going now" he said in a whisper. i huffed " well my blood is getting everywhere i can't just leave it i replied in annoyance when i opened my mouth to say something else the bell rang interrupting me. When i stood up Tom grabbed my wrist and pulled me off with him. "Riddle what are you playing at" i asked with a tired expression just wanting to clean my leg. " will you shut up and just follow me. "it's not like i have a choice" i lifted up the arm he was cluched onto. As we walked a bit more i knew where we where going back to the Slytherin dorms, he then turned a corner and then i got extremely confused "Uh tom this is the way to the boys dorms" he then turns to look at me and gives my a duh expression. then he stopped dead in in his tracks and opens a door. "right go into the bathroom and get the box under the sink" Tom said i huffed but did not argue back i was to tired for that, i reached the bathroom and do exactly what he told me to do. after grabbing the box i made my way back into the room,to see Tom sitting on the bed tapping the the other side of him i got the hint and sat down "right give me the box and your leg" he said, i gave him the are you serious look and in one quick motion my leg was on his knee " w-what are you doing" i said in a shakey voice " i am helping you" he said in a bored tone " yes i can see that but why" i said with a no shit tone. " because your my friend" he replied, i looked back from the ground a shocked expression on my face and just laughed sarcastically.He looked at me with a confused look in his eye " what are you laughing at" he said defensively with a serious look in his eye i slowly came down from a laughing fit and realised he was not joking, i am freaking out Tom riddle just called me his friend am i dreaming, i went to pinch myself but i stoped when i felt a stinging sensation on my leg "Owch" i yelled and looked down to see tom wiping my leg " you didn't tell me you were going to start" i said my toned laced with anger and pain. " sorry but you were getting blood on me had to do it" he replied
