That's when I saw it.
Nick was standing in the hallway with...
Vanessa.

She was messing around with his hair, whispering in his ear and giggling.

I know Nick has had a few drinks, but surely he's not drunk enough to let this happen.

My heart ached as I watched. I don't know whether to feel sad or angry.

A million thoughts were racing in my head as I watched.
I had a bad feeling about Vanessa since I met her.

I guess a had a point.

I'm blocked in the hallway since the only way out is past them.
I stand there not sure on what to do when Nick turns his head and spots me.

Nick has always been able to read me like a book.
All he has to do is look at me and he knows exactly how I'm feeling.

Which is why as soon as we made eye contact he immediately started walking towards me.

"Char, what's wrong? Are u okay?" He asks. I look over his shoulder to see a huge grin plastered on Vanessa's face.

I didn't know what to say.

I knew as soon as I started talking that I'd probably start crying.
And I didn't want Vanessa to see me crying or even worse, me and Nick arguing, so I tired to keep it together.

"Are you serious?" I ask.

"What do you mean?" He says confused.

"You know exactly what I fucking mean! You're all over each other!" I say.

"What are you talking about?" Nick says looking at me.

"Oh my god, Nick I'm not an idiot!" I say a little louder.

I hear Vanessa scoff in the background and all I could feel is anger.

"You think I'm stupid?" I ask, looking straight at her.

"I mean.." she laughs back at me.

"Don't say that about Charlie." Nick snaps at Vanessa.

I love how protective he is. But at this moment in time I'm trying to stay mad at him.

"C'mon baby let's get back to the dorm." Nick says walking me out of the common room.
I tried to resist against him but he's much bigger than me.

When we got back to his dorm I immediately stormed into his bedroom.

"Charlie! Wait, let me explain!" He says following behind me.

"Go ahead. Explain! I saw it! You clearly like her!" I say raising my voice.

"Charlie I don't fucking like her!"

"Sure." I say plainly.

"Drop the fucking attitude Charlie."
