The Carmail and the Dragon

Sadida raid unsuccessful

......

(muffled speaking)

A voice spoke, but Velvet can only faintly hear it, she couldn't make out what it was saying though, its was kinda annoying that she couldn't make out the voice, but the the voice suddenly became extremely clear when it said..

"Wake up."

Velvet opened her eyes, or, it felt like she did, but once she supposedly "opened" her eyes, she saw the most beautiful woman wearing the most beautiful dress, every part of her was beautiful, but there was one thing that stood out, she had two beautiful white fox tails that gently swayed behind her. 

the woman reached out to Velvet and gently placed her hand on her cheek and caressed it in a motherly way, she spoke again in the most gentlest voice ever. 

???: "It's time to.." She leaned in closer to Velvet and whispered in her ear, as if to not startle her in anyway. "Wake up..."

Velvet then actually woke up. She immediately sat up, breathing heavily. she looked to her left and saw a woman with a healing brush, an Aniripsa? 

The Aniripsa looked at her in shock for a few seconds, but she then smiled, she looked a little thankful, she then asked her a question.

Aniripsa: "How are you feeling? You've been out for a long time.."

Velvet stared at her, completely frozen in both complete shock and confusion she stammered her words a bit before finally speaking.

Velvet: "I'm.. I'm fine.. Where am I..? Who are you?"

The Aniripsa chuckled soft heartedly before answering.

Aniripsa: "That's great to hear! Im the eniripsa, and this is the Sadida Kingdom, Adamai found you falling from the sky, so he saved you!"

Velvet was confused, she clearly didn't know who that was.

Velvet: "Who's Adamai??" 

Aniripsa: "That doesn't matter right now, You'll meet him later. What matters right now, is that you tell me what you remember, like how did this happen?"

Velvet: "Umm... Well.."

At least ten hours early..

the pirates and Velvet are sailing, the pirates eat Velvets food, and the haven bag was being looked at by the captain, Velvet sat there, not feeling to good, due to her hunger, she thought that she would most likely starve, her head was spinning due to the lack of food, the pirates can be heard laughing and having a good time, the captain then spoke to his crew.

Captain: "Let the girl out of the room!"

The crew listened to the captain and opened up the door, Velvet looked extremely pale, more pale than usual, she just lied there, being completely weak and helpless. one of the pirates picked her up and carried her to the captain, the captain then told her something that shocked her to the core.

Captain: "We plan to attack the Sadida Kingdom, we'll be there soon. Don't. You. Dare. Do. Anything.. If you do ANYTHING.. we will blame everything on you."

Velvet: "What!? No! You can't do that, you can't! Please don't-"

The captain interrupted her, his voice loud and angry.

Captain: "SHUT UP WOMAN! I DON'T WANNA HEAR IT!"

Velvet was upset, she continued to try and desperately tell them to stop.

Velvet: Please! Don't do this, please-"

Captain: "I SAID SHUT UP WOMAN!"

He hit her and that was all she needed to faint, both the hunger and the lack of energy got to her and that hit was all she needed to finally break.

Captain: "Leave her on the ground, she can freeze to death on our ship."

The pirate then dropped her on the ground. Her eyes were closed like she was only taking a peaceful rest, the captain then ordered the crew to set sail to the island that has the Sadida Kingdom on it, the crew started running around the ship, making sure the ship was going full speed ahead.

After a few hours, the boat was near the island, the pirate crew started to celebrated, but just then, the boat started to shake, the vibration coming from right under them, in the water, just then, the same big serpent that attacked Velvet, attacked the ship. the ship started to shake the serpent shot out from under the ship, the ship flew up due to the powerful hit from under the ship. the ship was so high up that if it landed in the ocean it would break into pieces, Velvet was only slightly conscious, her eyes were barely open, and she couldnt move, she was to weak, tired, and hungry. 

As the boat slowly started to descend from the air the whole crew was hanging onto something, but Velvet couldn't, she was to weak, due to her being lighter than the ship, her body slowly lifted off of the ship, she thought to herself: "lets see what will happen to me first, starvation, being eaten, or hitting the water, it doesn't matter anyways, i'll die either way." she just closed her eyes and braced for the impact of death. 

But just then, she felt some scaly and very warm hands carry her, she opened her eyes slightly, she could barely make out who it was, but she could see wings flapping and she knew that they were flying, but then she was to tired to even keep her eyes slightly open, and she passed out.

Back to the present.

Aniripsa: "..I see.. That's  pretty concerning.. how did you even get on the ship?"

Velvet laughed nervously and she rubbed the back of her neck, she answered while not knowing how to really explain to the Aniripsa.

Velvet: "That's.. A little complicated.. It's a really, really long story.. It's also a sensitive subject.. I rather not talk about it.."

The Aniripsa nodded understandably. she got up and walked out of the curtained area, Velvet just sat there, feeling a bit awkward, she just sat there, looking down at her hands, she saw a mark on the back of her hand and it really confused her, she lifted her hand up to her face to get a good look at the mark.

???: "i see your okay?"

Velvet got a bit startled, she slowly looked at the person who talked, the person was a white dragon with blue lips and blue markings, he was hanging upside down from his white tail Velvet immediately got frightened and the back of her head hit the wall and blood started to drip from the back of her head. The dragon looked startled and got down from the ceiling and landed on the floor, he looked  bit concerned, he left the room to get the Aniripsa, Velvets vision slowly got blurry and soon enough she passed out.
