Being overcome

"Jimin...?Hobi said you've been here for hours it's getting late?
"Oh Kookie...I just got lost in time, I haven't been able to come here regularly ...so I just thought I'd spend a little while here after a day of endless meetings."
"That's ok it's just....well I don't like it when you're here on your own....you realise the front door wasn't locked ?"
"Oh...damn I was supposed to lock it after the last class but I got a bit wrapped up...oh ! It's nine o'clock I didn't realise....have you eaten,I'll grab my stuff and shower at home..."
Jimin rushed around grabbing the suit he'd worn earlier in the day and bundling it over his arm along with the gym bag he'd brought his dance clothes in.
Jungkook took it off him carrying it himself and following Jimin out.
Now he'd actually stopped dancing he felt exhausted but he'd needed it,it was the only relief he felt after the last month of numerous 'business meetings,' court appearance and trying to learn the business from his cousin.
"Leave your car here I'll drive..."
Jimin didn't argue he felt numb and overwhelmed but he couldn't tell Jungkook or his friends not after they had helped him get his inheritance.
"We can pick up a takeaway what do you fancy?"
"Erm anything I'm not that hungry though,"
Jungkook frowned at Jimin's words ,Jimin often didn't seem hungry lately and just picked at food.
"Are you ok?your appetite hasn't been great lately and you've lost weight?"
"I'm fine it's all ok,I get to eat when I visit the restaurants( he lied) and all this running around must be good for me I could do with losing a few pounds your home cooking is too good I'll get fat!"
"Your figure is perfect don't lose any weight I adore you as you are."
Jimin sighed his head lolling back on the car seat,
"Don't you ever get bored of me....you manage your business with ease dealing with all sorts of people,you run a gym,you give self defense classes,everything you do is a success...and me......I can dance...."
"Hey don't put yourself down...I could never get bored with you...look at you this last month and all you've had to deal with...and now your a businessman as well as a dancer,your rocking it!"
"Yer......of course.." Jimin said quietly turning his face to look out the window.
"Let's go here...." Jungkook pulled up at a take away
"Can you choose I'm comfy in here?"
"Sure....you sit and relax,"
Jungkook got out and went inside,Jimin closed his eyes inwardly screaming,how much longer could he do this before the other found out he wasn't 'Rocking it',he was just getting by...
They got home and Jimin quickly showered then with just a robe on came to sit and eat some food.
"How's your cousin?"
"He's good...I can't believe he's the same person who used to terrorise me...he knows so much about the business  and his wife and son are lovely.....he can't stop apologising though....its awkward and I told him it's in the past but he gets quite choked up about it."
"Imagine you were him your parents dying so early on and your relying on relatives for every penny through no fault of your own,your trying to deal with feelings of loss and the burden of having nothing while seeing someone who looks like they have it all but not having to ask for it....you were both young he was dealing with that and you were dealing with being the opposite of what your parents expected...life can be hard but luckily he saw he was on a bad road and changed direction,you got free of your parents and look at you now a new businessman!"
Jimin gave a fake smile and stood up to wash the dishes.
"My parents got sentenced today....." he murmured
"What? Why didn't you tell me did you go to court I would have gone with you!"
"I knew you had back to back meetings....."
"Jimin I would have cancelled,what happened are you ok?"
"They both got two years......their accounts are frozen until the money. Is paid back to me even though half had been paid back already...the police are still looking into their overseas funds and they will be forced to pay me back plus some for 'pain and suffering'....she shouted out in court that she wished I hadn't been born....,,,,?"
"Oh Jimin..."
"Hey it's ok it's not like I didn't know she hated me....."
"Well she has no claim on the business now so you won't have to deal with her ...it's hard but she did bring it on herself."
"I know.....she still has her house,when she gets out,and I'm sure she will have money that nobody will no about ...."
"Come on let's clear up together ..."
The kitchen was neat and tidy once more.
"You wanna watch tv?"
"Do you mind if I go to bed...I'm so tired,"
"We will both go come on,"
Fifteen minutes later both were in bed Jimin cuddled up to Jungkook who rubbed his back easing the stress he'd felt all day.
"I'll drive us in tomorrow so you can pick up your car,what's the deal for you tomorrow.?"
"A board meeting apparently,"
"Ah my cute businessman boyfriend..."
"Shut up I'm going to sleep..."
Jungkook chuckled still rubbing the others back satisfied when Jimin finally fell into a restful sleep.
The alarm sounded too soon both getting up and dressing Jimin eyeing with distaste the suits he'd had to buy.
They drove to zjungkooks offices Jimin giving him a peck goodbye before he reluctantly went on to his own meeting.
"Show them whose boss babe," Jungkook shouted
Jimin swallowed but gave a fake smile before waving then driving off.
"It was one thirty when Jungkooks phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Hello Jungkook.....is Jimin ok?"
Recognising Jimins cousin he answered ,
"Ok...isn't he with you?"
"Well that's it...he seemed very on edge all morning at the meeting then after we were having coffee he seemed....agitated,I was telling him about the turnover this week from the restaurants and he just stood up cancelled the afternoon meetings and said he can't do this and walked out....his car's gone so I thought he must be with you?"
"Er don't worry I think the pressure of his parents court case yesterday has got to him...I'll catch up with him..."
"Oh right....good"
The phone clicked off and Jungkook went to look out the window at Hobis place but Jimin's car wasn't there.
Frowning he rang Jimin's number and eventually it was picked up.
"Jimin love are you..."
"Kookie! It's my Kookie....." Jimin's voice was loud and giggly.
"Jimin where are you ?you sound weird"
"Ssssh,I've escaped don't tell them they will just Say I told you so (hic)"
"Jimin are you drinking?"
"Wow your good.....have you got a secret camera,did you see how crap I am at this business malarkey ....i told you im just a dancer but noooooooo you all get my inheritance and I'm supposed to be a businessman,it suck's so I'm drowning my  sorrows,,"
"Jimin tell me where you are..."
"Nooooooo I'm having a pity party I don't want to see your disappointed face,oops I nearly knocked it over,cheers...(cough cough) waiter!another bottle please..."
"Jimin!!"
He could hear talking in the background and music
"Hey cutie all alone wanna let me buy you a drink?"
Jungkook heard the male voice and his fists clenched.
"I don't know you so no"
"We can get to know each other..."
"But my Kookie is here?"
"Kookie...? There's nobody here except you and me,"
"Go away...I'm having a party."
"On your own...let me  join your party what are you celebrating?"
"Celebrating...?it's a pity party stupid,I'm breaking up with my boyfriend...he's too good for me,I can't run a business,I hate it yet all my friends helped me get it and I've let them down....he makes it look easy but I just can't do it I don't like it so when he finds out about my worthless ass he won't want me..."
Jungkook heard it all and felt a pain in his chest then heard muffled sobs.
"Jimin!" He yelled frustratedly
"Hey man....er I think your phones on someone's calling you.."
"Nobody would call me why should they...(sob) I gotta drink this it's like magic it makes all the bad things hide away......,
Silence
"Er hello is someone there?"
The voice Jungkook had heard chatting Jimin up spoke
"Who the fuck are you and why are you chatting my boyfriend up!!"
"Hey look he's cute he's on his own but hey I'm not going to play him he's totally getting wasted I don't want to make him feel worse..."
"Where are you?"
The bar next to the hotel serendipity ,look I'm gonna go but you should come for him he's. Inbetween happy drunk and fall of the seat wasted"
The phone clicked off and Jungkook sped down to his car he knew where the hotel was and took a short cut. He saw Jimins car parked across the street and hurried into the bar looking around.
Jimin sat at a corner table his head on his arms empty bottles of suju on the table his phone there to.
He knelt next to him," Jimin baby come on time to go"
Jimin moaned out," Kookie?stop the room moving,"
Jungkook helped him stand picking his phone up and checking he had his car keys.
"Kookie why do you put up with me,my parents were right I'm no good,"
"Baby let's go eh,"
He walked his arm around the other but zjimin stumbled so he picked him up easily.
Jimin started sobbing as he carried him out,
"I'm gonna lose you the only one I love and I'm going to lose you I'm such a loser..."
Jungkooks heart broke at the others sobs he put Jimin in the passenger seat clipping his seatbelt on.
"Jimin you won't lose me you hear?"
But when he looked at the smaller male he was passed out his head lolling.
"I'd never give you up baby I love you too much," he whispered before getting into the car and driving them home.
