Night and day collide

The two had been living together for a month and a half,Jimin was the happiest he'd ever been.Jungkook looked after his every need both in and out of bed.
He blossomed like a flower,he began to speak out more about things he felt and even reprimanded Suga for not taking Hobi out more on dates.
"But Jimin he's happy to be at home with me....!" Suga whined.
"Suga ,Hobi works hard but likes to party too,yes you need rest after a busy day but you can also spoil each other...Kookie took me to a rooftop restaurant last week just because I said I'd like to see the view of our town from up high"
"God you two ...."
"Oh stop squirming....I know you like Hobi a lot but he likes to be spoilt too what are your plans for next week?"
"Next week?"
Jimin sighed," it's six months from your first date,"
"Is it.....erm are we supposed to celebrate that then? I've never been with anyone that long before."
"Of course you are Hobi has been getting really excited about it."
"He has,Damn,you sure he is expecting something..."
"Well Hobi being Hobi if you had forgotten he would have just smiled and hidden how he feels and then given you a little gift days later of something he bought because he thought you might like it."
"He would wouldn't he but what do I get that he hasn't bought himself you know he likes to shop...?"
"Why ask me?"
"Well you seem to be the love guru lately,Jungkook grins like an idiot if your name is mentioned and look how quickly you two moved in together....damn that's it,Hobi and I still go to each others apartments...you think he'd move in with me?"
Jimin smiled," you can ask ...,or present him with a gift boxed key after a meal."
Suga usually the reticent type hugged Jimin just as Jungkook walked into the coffee shop.
Although he trusted Suga he felt jealous of the others arms around him.
"Is this a private hug or can anyone join in?"
"Oh stop being possessive you overgrown bunny!" Jimin stated in a no nonsense voice .
"Bunny?" Suga laughed
"Of course he's like a cute bunny when he smiles don't you think?"
"Oh I thought you meant he goes on and on like a rabbit in bed."
Jungkook waited for Jimin to blush but to his surprise the other said,
"That too but I meant his cuteness!"
"Oh my god did I just hear you right Park Jimin discussing our sex habits out loud?" Jungkook asked hands on hips.
Jimin pouted at his lover raising his eyebrows and saying ," you have a problem with it?"
Jungkook leaned down to his ear and whispered ,
"If you keep talking like that I'm going to have a huge problem somewhere that you're going to have to fix!"
He stepped back grinning as he saw Jimin look away with a smile of his own.
"Eugh I'm going...er what day is it again Jimin."
"Thursday Suga and make sure it's somewhere with music."
"Got ya,thanks."
Jimin picked his coffee cup up and sipped then looked up at Jungkook.
"Aren't you getting one?"
"Aren't you going to tell me why you two were hugging and planning something for Thursday ?"
Jimin sat back a smirk on his face," you sound jealous"
Jungkook huffed ," I'm trying to sound....interested."
"Oh right..." Jimin said not offering anything more.
Jungkook stared again then went and got a coffee coming back to sit next to Jimin,his foot tapping constantly as he kept looking at the other.
Jimin chuckled," omg,you are jealous ,this is new for me!"
Jungkook turned to Jimin placing a firm hand on Jimin's knee.
"If anyone tried it on with you I'd be jealous you mean a lot to me,I don't care if they're a friend or not I won't tolerate it..."
Jimin saw his sincerity and immediately leaned in to kiss him.
"It was nothing I was reminding Suga that Hobi will be expecting him to do something for their six month anniversary...he'd forgotten and was just thanking me."
Jungkook visibly relaxed and sat back.
"Right...that's good...six months eh I wonder what he will get him."
"I think maybe the key to his house,they don't even live together."
"Is that a good gift?damn what will I get you,you already live with me!"
"You spoil me all the time...I wouldn't need anything,"
"It's not spoiling it's just normal everyday things that I like to do."
"Aw Kookie your normal and mine are completely different."
"I suppose you think I'm just a rich brat and spend needlessly,it's not true but I suppose it seems so when you haven't had that kind of money to spend....sorry"
"No Kookie...I don't want to sound ungrateful!Actually..." he sighed then spoke again," my family are quite well off but to them it was all about image...I didn't fit their perfect image.....they tried to 'convert' me but I stuck to who I was,they paid for self defense classes as they thought their son should be able to stand up for himself....the bully who picked on me? He was my cousin but they just thought it was kids at school.He wanted what I had his father my uncle died early on so he only had his mother,he used to come around and treat my parents so good,siding with them over my 'faults' as they called them.He came to live with us as his mother passed away in an accident and from then on they treated him more like their son than me,ridiculing my every move ,I was too effeminate,I should study business not while away my time dancing....then the day they threw me out was because my cousin ran to them in disgust saying I had tried it on with him....they didn't listen to me saying he lied they believed him throwing me out and saying I was their son no more.Last I heard my cousin ran the business with my father."
"But how did they explain away you no longer being around...to family and acquaintances ?"
Jimin gave a shrug," apparently I died abroad 'studying' economics,I've even read my obituary."
"Oh fuck Jimin that's harsh...how could they!"
"It's fine,I don't have to listen to them anymore,it's not like I go in the same circles as them,they run a group of restaurants."
"Shit really? Do I know them ...I can't think of any Park restaurants."
"Oh know they call them different names,millennial ,magnate,Midas ,to name a few,it's run under the sung ho enterprises,my mothers family."
"You're shitting me!damn I've eaten at some of these places....how can they disown you like that?It's your inheritance."
"Well not anymore..."
"Haven't you ever wanted payback?"
"Not for financial reasons maybe just to show them,hey I'm still here you can't put me down"
"It must have been lonely for you,"
"Not when my grandparents were alive...my mothers parents,they accepted me as I was I think they knew before I did that I was gay,grandpa said life may try and treat us harshly but we should fight for what we want...he always said everything would be fine and my future was set,....i wasn't sure what he meant but I hoped it was good,they both passed away three months before my parents threw me out."
"I'm sure that they must have left you some money in their will,it must have helped?"
"I don't know what was in the will,I never saw it,I remember mum and dad arguing about something to do with it but then I was gone."
Jungkook frowned,something didn't add up.
"Jimin do you mind if I look into it?"
"Kookie...they are my past,feel free but there's nothing to find apart from what I told you."
"Ok babe,I just have an itch I need to scratch something tells me there's more to this."
"Ah my bunny,fighting for the downtrodden," he chuckled," I do love you."
He said the words automatically then got flustered.
"I mean I love the way you erm stand up for people...oh look I need to get back I have classes,I'll see you later,"
He tried to hurry off but Jungkook stood up grabbing his wrist tugging him near,
"I love you too baby,maybe we should discuss this later?"he kissed him passionately
Jimin blushed and ran Jungkook chuckling at his retreating figure.
"Well I never in my cafe,get a room," Jin laughed standing behind Jungkook.
"What you never seen two people in love ?"
"Love oh my god really,no wonder Jimin seems radiant ,he's changed so much!"
"Hmm,daytime Jimin is now like nighttime Jimin,more confident self assured knows what he wants."
"Ew!is this TMI?"
"Jin..do you know anything about the Sung Ho group?"
"Just that it's an old family restaurant group very highly thought of and has been passed down the generations...why?"
Jungkook told Jin about Jimin's conversation.
"Hang on though,his mother would have been a caretaker the business has always passed through the males?I have friends in the business you want me to look into it?"
"So it's not just me thinking something's off ?"
"No....i can't believe they would put an obituary in the paper too,this needs looking at and I want to help."
"Ok you look into it and I will too,Jimin doesn't seem to think anything's wrong but you and I know how this works,I'll catch up with you."
Jin nodded and Jungkook left getting on his phone to tell Namjoon to look into the Sung Ho business.
That night as Jimin lay in his arms he felt anger build at something he'd found out about Jimin's parents.
"Your tense what's up?" Jimin asked drowsily
"Nothing baby just trying to work out a business problem."
"Oh can I help,I know I don't know much but I can listen?"
"It's ok baby let's sleep,the problem can be sorted tomorrow."
"Ok..." Jimin snuggled close
Jungkook smiled then remembered something.
"Hey!about this live thing...?"
In response all he got was light snores from the other.
"Never mind we can talk another time," he closed his eyes and drifted off ,Jimin opened his eyes,that was close he felt like an idiot for blurting it out earlier ,he didn't want to hear Jungkook joke about love he'd only been kidding earlier right? No need to rock the boat they were comfortable as they were.
He sighed then his eyes closed and this time his snores were real as he drifted off into the land of make believe.
