"It's time to wake up, dear student of mine."

Gojo activates his infinity while reaching his hand towards Kaminaga, using his cursed technique to act as a shield from the lightning bouncing off of the barrier surrounding Mei's body and to push it back. Shoko goes to grab Gojo's shoulders; a futile attempt to stop him.
"What do you think you're doing, Gojo?" The brunette asked as she eyed him warily, her eyebrows furrowing with caution.
"Don't worry, I'm not gonna harm her." Gojo flashes Shoko with a playful smile. "I'm just going to gently wake her up."
After a few seconds, Shoko decides to let go of Gojo's shoulder as she exhales a soft sigh, deciding to let him do as he pleases--because ultimately, she knew she would not be able to bring Mei back herself.
"Alright. Just be careful, please."
"I will." The white-haired male responds, reassuring the brunette while smirking confidently.
He was hell-bent on getting Kaminaga back, no matter what the cost may be.

As Kaminaga continued to train with Ei, trying to hone her cursed technique, she felt the ground begin to tremble below her feet. The shaking quickly became more aggressive by the second and Kaminaga couldn't help but worry. Luckily, she was able to stand her ground, despite the strong tremors.
The noirette tilts her head and looks up at the goddess, silently asking for an answer as to what is going on.
As though she could read her reincarnation's mind, the goddess replies, "It seems that someone is trying to wake you up, Kaminaga. They attempt to break the barrier surrounding your body as we speak."
"What?!" Mei exclaimed in bewilderment, her pupils narrowing and eyes widening. "But wouldn't that be dangerous for the person trying to break it?"
"If the person trying to break the barrier can make a barrier of their own to block out the lightning from touching them, they could come out unscathed. In other cases, that person could die."
"Then we have to stop them! I can't just let someone die for my sake; besides, I haven't even finished my training yet!" The noirette panicked.
Ei places a firm hand on the girl's shoulder while gazing down at her with a soft expression, soothing her nerves. "It will be fine, Mei. I'm sure whoever is trying to wake you up will be all right. I believe you have made good enough progress. However, there is a small chance that something might go wrong when you awaken since you didn't finish your training." She says, smiling down at Kaminaga warmly. "If, in any case, something does go wrong, call for Raiko. He'll know what to do."
Suddenly, Mei felt a strong force start to pull her away from the deity. "Wait! Ei!" She tries to hold out her hand towards the goddess to regain her footing, but the goddess simply stands there doing nothing as she watches Mei get pulled farther and farther away.
"Tell Raiko I said hi, okay?"
'Raiko..? Wait, the fox?' Mei wondered to herself before snapping out of her thoughts and focusing back on what was happening at hand. "Hold on! There's still so much I need to know!" She cries out as her vision begins to darken. "Ei!"
Mei was desperate. She needed to know.
Why was I created?
What am I supposed to do?
What is my purpose in this life?
And then...
It all went black.
