Hello, this is not a children's book, nor a teens, this book is meant for 18+. There is mentions of SA, Self harm, drugs, alcohol, sex, violence, blood, gore, torture, parental abuse, sibling abuse. Obviously...not a children's book.
In this book there are 3kingdoms, all different but Devine. Along with 3 kinds of people that all have different abilities, I will list them in power order strongest to least as they can transform AND have powers.

The black hand, they weren't called this because of their skin, but because of their powers. They were known for having the darkest of wings, the longest of talons, and sharpest of beaks when in full form. Almost all had coal black hair, eyes, and feathers, but very few had blonde, ginger, even white.
The Fehennoch, they were strong built men and women, with the palest of features, white hair for all ages and skin so pale you'd think they were snow. They were powerful in strength and tracking as in true form they were giant white Bears of mass size and destruction.
The halu, strong tall built men with teeny tiny women, they were red, brown, tan, fast, slow, sharp, loud, quiet, blunt. They were beasts of the sand Lizards as you may call it. Known for their stealth in skills in battle, but weak magic unless enhanced by emotions that fuel their fight.
