I thought the monster was beside me
I looked far and wide but when I opened my eyes
I was there alone in the woods lurking like a hunter
For then I realized nobody was there
for I was that monster that o cruel monster who killed without a second thought I was so fixated on the person In front o f me I couldn’t even see myself and for that I’m sorry for what I’ve become
For I became the one thing I hunt the monster in the dark
