The days in the mansion bled into each other, an endless stream of confusion and tension. Y/N was still piecing together the dynamics between the sins, each encounter bringing her closer to the truth—yet further from understanding. The walls seemed to close in on her, a constant reminder of the twisted game she’d unwillingly entered.
She knew she was running out of time. The warning in Taehyung's voice still haunted her thoughts, and the more she learned about the sins, the more she feared they were holding back something far more dangerous than their individual flaws.
That night, as Y/N lay in her bed staring at the ceiling, a restless energy filled the air. It was different from the nights before, something darker and more intense. She could feel it—like a tangible force pressing down on her. Sleep wouldn’t come, no matter how much she willed herself to close her eyes.
A soft knock on her door pulled her from her spiraling thoughts.
Her heart skipped a beat. It was late, far too late for anyone to be wandering the halls. Slowly, she sat up, clutching the blanket to her chest as the door creaked open.
Jimin stood in the doorway, his silhouette barely visible in the dim light. His eyes, however, gleamed with something unreadable, something dangerous. Lust.
“Can’t sleep?” he asked, his voice soft yet laced with an unspoken tension.
Y/N swallowed, trying to shake the unease building in her chest. “What are you doing here?”
Jimin stepped inside, closing the door behind him. The room suddenly felt smaller, the air thicker with his presence. His eyes roamed over her, lingering in ways that made Y/N’s skin prickle.
“I couldn’t sleep either,” he said, his tone low, seductive, as he crossed the room toward her bed. “And I thought maybe you could use some company.”
Y/N’s pulse quickened as he approached. There was something about Jimin, something that always set him apart from the others. He was all charm and allure, the very essence of temptation wrapped in a deceptively gentle exterior. She knew what he was capable of, yet here he was, standing before her with a smile that could melt hearts.
“I’m fine,” Y/N said, though her voice betrayed her nerves. “You should go back to your room.”
Jimin’s smile widened, but there was no warmth in it—only a predatory gleam. “You’re lying. I can feel it, Y/N. Your heart is racing.”
She stiffened, clutching the blanket tighter as he sat on the edge of her bed, his gaze never leaving hers. The space between them felt charged, a dangerous current that pulled at something deep inside her, something she didn’t want to acknowledge.
“You shouldn’t be here,” she whispered, though her voice faltered.
Jimin leaned in closer, his lips mere inches from hers, his breath hot against her skin. “Maybe I should. Maybe this is exactly where I’m supposed to be.”
Y/N’s thoughts tangled in a whirlwind of fear and curiosity. There was something about Jimin’s presence that disarmed her, even as her instincts screamed to push him away. His aura was intoxicating, pulling her in like a moth to a flame. She knew what he was, knew the sin that lived inside him—but she couldn’t deny the allure.
He tilted his head, his gaze dark and intense as he spoke. “You want to know what makes us demons, don’t you? You think you can understand us. But Lust isn’t something you can understand. It’s something you feel.”
Y/N opened her mouth to argue, to tell him he was wrong, but the words caught in her throat. His hand reached out, brushing a strand of hair from her face, and the touch sent a shiver down her spine.
“Let me show you,” Jimin whispered, his voice velvety smooth, dripping with temptation.
Before Y/N could react, he moved closer, his lips ghosting over hers, not quite a kiss but enough to make her heart race. Her breath hitched, every nerve in her body suddenly alive, screaming at her to pull away—but she couldn’t.
His hand slid to the back of her neck, his touch gentle yet commanding, holding her in place. The intensity in his gaze pinned her down, and for a moment, she was lost in him, in the raw power of what he represented.
But then something shifted. In the back of her mind, a warning bell rang—a reminder of what he was, of what this could mean. Y/N tore herself away, her heart pounding in her chest as she scrambled out of bed, putting distance between them.
“Stop,” she said, her voice shaking. “I won’t let you control me like this.”
Jimin didn’t move. He simply sat there, watching her with an amused glint in his eyes. “I’m not controlling you, Y/N. This is all you. I’m just offering what you already want.”
Y/N clenched her fists, fighting the pull he had over her. “I’m not like you.”
Jimin’s smile faltered, just for a moment, before he stood up. “You’re more like us than you think. You’ve felt it, haven’t you? The darkness inside you, the temptation. It’s there. And sooner or later, you’ll give in.”
With that, he turned and walked toward the door, his movements slow and deliberate, as if he knew the impact of every word.
Before he left, he glanced over his shoulder, his eyes gleaming with a mix of lust and something far more dangerous. “This isn’t over, Y/N. You’ll see.”
The door closed behind him with a soft click, leaving Y/N standing in the middle of the room, her heart racing and her mind spinning.
She leaned against the wall, trying to catch her breath. Jimin’s words echoed in her ears, a haunting reminder of the battle she was fighting—not just against them, but against herself.
She had come to the mansion to survive, to outwit the demons, but now she wasn’t sure if that was possible. The more time she spent with them, the more she realized they weren’t just demons—they were reflections of the darkest parts of herself. Lust, Envy, Pride… They all had a hold on her, pulling her deeper into their world.
But Y/N wasn’t going to give in. Not yet.
She would find a way to resist them. She had to.
Because if she didn’t, she wasn’t sure she’d make it out of the mansion at all.
