Tim wakes up to a disturbing sound coming from their bathroom when he notices Lucy isn't beside him.
He rushes to the bathroom to see Lucy puking her guts out
He runs over to her and puts his hand on the small of her back to soothe her and he lifts her hair up to hold it in the shape of a ponytail to not get in her face
Tim reassures her " it's okay, honey"
Lucy nods before she begins puking again
As she finishes up she curls into Tim's chest to cry her eyes out
As she finishes, she looks up at Tim who then looks straight down at her, giving her a soft smile
She asks him " what's wrong with me Tim?"
He answers her quickly " I don't know babe" " come on, let's get you into bed, I'm gonna call us a personal day for work"
Lucy nods and Tim helps her get up and she crawls back into the bed
She pulls the duvet over herself and waits for Tim to come back to her and cuddle her until she's better
A few minutes later he walks back into the room
He answers her questioned look " he said we can have the day off tomorrow with your condition, he said to tell you to get well soon"
Lucy nodded
She asked him " can we cuddle?"
Tim answers her, no doubt about it " of course honey" he climbs into bed " come here"
She crawls onto his lap and lays her head in the crook of his neck while he runs his fingers up and down her back to soothe her
He hears soft snores coming from her to tell him that she's having a well needed rest.
He stays awake with her on top of him for a while before falling asleep himself.
A couple of hours later Lucy wakes up again, feeling nauseous but before she could get up to go the bathroom, Tim woke up to ask her what was wrong. She couldn't answer and immediately fled herself into the bathroom leaning over into the toilet to throw up again
Tim quickly rushed after her and did the same process that he had done earlier that day.
As he helped her back to bed he went into the kitchen and made her a bowl of her favorite soup
Before sitting it on a platter with a drink and some grilled cheese and heading back to their bedroom so that she might be able to hold a little something down
Lucy sees him walk through their door with a huge tray in his hands before her eyes widen and she asks " what's all this?"
Tim responds to her, sitting the platter down on her lap
" lunch for my sick princess"
Lucy kissed him lightly before he crawled in the other side of the bed as she ate her lunch
As she finished up, he took the tray from her and went to clean the dishes as she came out of their bedroom and sat herself at the couch in the family room
After Tim was done with the dishes he came over and sat next to her, grabbing the remote and turning on their favorite show—Top Chef. He asked her quietly " are you feeling better princess?"
Lucy nodded a bit before burying her head in Tim's neck and throwing her arms around him before falling into another deep sleep
Tim whispers to himself " well I guess that answers my question..."
