Melanie pov

I was supposed to break up with Jake yesterday but unfortunately, he was not in school.

I got the opportunity to do it today, but before I could do it, he shocked me with a kiss which Aiden had to see.

Axel was the one who warned me by pointing in Aiden's direction and I will never forget the look in his eyes, it broke my heart to know I caused that.

I hurt him.

His eyes held pain and defeat and I knew if I didn't go after him, I was going to lose him.

So that's why I'm in his car and he hasn't said anything to me yet. His jaw is clenched and his hands are tightly wrapped around the steering. I am scared he might break it and cause an accident.

Aiden is trying so much to control himself. I should say something before he does something bad out of anger. Or worse kick me out of the car. I don't want to lose him.

Aiden makes me feel things I didn't even know existed. Strangely, I can perceive his emotions and right now I sense his hurt.

Clearing my throat, I attempt to say something, anything at all but silence " Aiden I'm.."

"Don't " he quickly cuts me off, breathing heavily.

I feel tears pool in my eyes because I'm losing him. I just know it. Aiden drives full speed and roughly parks in front of the packhouse. What should I do now?

"Aiden, please" I quickly take his hand but he yanks it away from my grasp. Aiden exits the car and shuts the door with great force behind him.

I can't help but break down in tears. I should have just done what he told me to.

I was terrified of breaking Jake's heart and now it's mine breaking.

I cry so hard because I'm hurting. I don't care if anyone saw me anymore. I haven't known him for long but I feel like he just left with my heart.

My side door suddenly bursts open, and a mad Aiden hurls me on his broad shoulders and heads to the mansion.

When I say Aiden is mad, he's furious.

No words are spoken while he trudges towards the entrance like a man on a mission.

People, or should I say werewolves stare with anxious eyes as they wordlessly create a way for him.

Right now he's not the Aiden I know. This Aiden is cold and dominant, and I can't help but find him sexy as hell.

I must be crazy.

He takes the stairs two at ago, till we are on the last floor of the building and roughly shoves the big double doors open.

I have no time to look around because Aiden effortlessly throws me on the fluffy mattress of what I assume is his bed.

"Aiden please, listen to me please" I try getting up but he grabs my shoulders and pins me down on the bed.

"Do you know how you made me feel? watching that boy's lips on you?" Aiden darkly chuckles, as his eyes flash from green to golden.

" I expected you to push him away or stop the kiss, but you know what broke me Melanie?" he expectantly narrows his eyes at me and I fearfully gulp.

" You kissed him back, I stood there and watched you kiss him back" he shakes his head and growls loudly. The growl shakes everything around us, and it's one of the scariest things I have seen.
