2014, Hong Kong, in a deserted corner, the sky is gloomy with no light.

Faye Peraya dragged her tired body out of the subway, trying to figure out how much longer she had to walk home.

Home, not really, it wasn't a home, it was just a pitifully small rented room that couldn't get any smaller. Faye's real home was far away from here. Sometimes Faye felt that being too tall wasn't a good thing, the room was so small that there was only enough room for her to lie down on the floor and stretch out, and that was enough to cover the entire width of the rented room, surrounded by boxes stacked on top of each other.

Having been in this foreign land for two years, Faye still couldn't get used to it. When she first arrived, she was so lost that she cried on the side of the road. She had no family, no friends, and no understanding of their language. On top of that, Faye had no money and had to eat boiled eggs every day. She looked for work every day, any job related to modeling or advertising, Faye did it and saved money.

By this time, although still not rich, things had gradually improved a lot.

While lying down to rest, Faye picked up her phone and opened her bank account. The money she had saved all this time was finally enough to buy the expensive handbag that Faye loved. She had dreamed of this bag for a long time. She had tried hard to save money for it. Tomorrow, she would go to that luxury store and pick it up.

Forgetting her current lonely situation, thinking of such a small joy. Faye hugged a smile and fell asleep.

The next day, shopping mall, expensive stores, a light drizzle day

Faye Peraya is very beautiful, this is something that others and herself cannot argue about. Moreover, Faye also works in the modeling industry, expensive brands are really not unfamiliar to her. But that is working with those brands, not owning them, owning such branded fashion items is still something strange to her.

"This bag suits you very well. It's very classy." To speed up the sale, the store clerk lavished compliments on Faye.

She tried the bag on her left hand, then on her right, looking back and forth at herself in the mirror. It was beautiful, it suited her perfectly, there was nothing to complain about. Faye fondled the bag, looking at every detail.

'The amount is ..... Hong Kong dollars, how much is it if converted to baht...'

Standing at the checkout counter, Faye hesitated one last time.

'With that money, what can I do... I can do a lot of things.'

Thinking of this, her hand that was about to swipe her payment card stopped.

Looking up, the sales clerk was looking at her expectantly, looking outside, it was still drizzling lightly, looking at the card in her hand, containing the money she had saved for six months.

'Buying this expensive bag, will it really make me happy?'

"Sorry, I have something to do, let me think about it and come back later.." Faye pulled the card back and quickly said to the salesman.

Faye then left the store quickly, trying to ignore the disappointed look and heavy sigh of the salesman.

As if running away from that shopping mall, Faye leaned against the wall of the building, looking out at the square in front of her, sighing and feeling sad.

It was raining, Faye couldn't go anywhere. Maybe she should go back to the mall. No, no, even if she had to get wet on the way home, she didn't want to go back there.

Today is so boring, just like Faye's mood.

"Why are you standing here, you'll get wet." A clear voice rang out right next to her, her English pronunciation was very standard.
