Tharn pov:

I the mate bond growing stronger. Just as I’m about to wonder where the Alpha is, the doors open, and in walks the Luna.

My heart stops. He’s… breathtaking. He’s slim with delicate features, wide, deer-like eyes, and slender fingers. Every movement he makes radiates grace and confidence. That’s him, Apollo growls possessively, he’s ours. My mate meets my gaze for a moment and freezes, his eyes widening before he quickly composes himself. Just watching him, I’m completely spellbound.

As the Luna introduces hfeelimself as “Type,” I see Pat sneering in his direction, his gaze filled with disgust. Pat even has the nerve to roll his eyes. Rage ignites inside me; I want nothing more than to put him in his place. But Type catches my eye, and there’s a look in his expression—one that tells me to hold back. He’s calm and in control, a true leader.

Type starts the meeting, and the elders go straight to the point. “Alpha Pat, why did you attack the Moonlight Pack?” one of them asks. I’m proud to hear the respect in their voices as they address my mate.

Pat’s reply is infuriating. “Simple,” he says with a smug smile. “He’s just an omega.”

I clench my fists, fighting back the urge to tear into Pat right then and there. Bright, one of the alphas from the south, seems to share my sentiment and grabs Pat by the throat, but Type stops him with a single command: “Alpha Bright, leave him.”

Reluctantly, Bright lets go. I know him to be one of the strongest alphas, someone who rarely shows submission. But here he is, honoring Type’s authority without a second thought. Watching this, my respect for Type deepens even more.

Pat sneers again. “See? You need an alpha to protect you. You’re just an omega.”

Pat extends a finger toward Type in a taunting gesture, and before I can react, Type moves swiftly. He grabs Pat’s wrist and twists it, his face calm yet steely. Pat winces in pain, and I release a wave of pheromones to help soothe my mate. Type releases Pat and gracefully sits down, commanding the room with his quiet authority.

Then, one of the elders speaks up, suggesting that if there are objections, they could replace the alpha with another leader. I’m stunned that anyone would dare suggest it, and I’m ready to defend Type. But he looks at me, his gaze steady and reassuring, as if asking me to trust him.

Type calmly addresses the room. “I am the Luna of this pack, and I will bring this matter to a close.” His tone is cool and resolute. He goes on to declare that, as punishment for breaking the treaty, he will take over Darkmoon’s territory. His words send a chill through the room. Pat’s eyes widen in disbelief.

“That’s my pack!” Pat splutters.

Type gives him a cold look. “According to our peace treaty, if any pack breaks the agreement and attacks another, the aggrieved pack has the right to claim their territory.” His gaze sweeps the room. “To any other pack that may be eyeing my lands, know that I will protect my people.”

With that, he dismisses the meeting. I stand there in awe as the other alphas begin to leave. Type’s strength and wisdom are beyond what I ever expected. He has not only defended his pack but claimed the Darkmoon territory. Now, nothing stands between my pack and his.

Outside, everyone is gathering in the garden. I see Type standing off to the side, looking lost in thought. I walk over to him, stopping a few feet away.

“Mate,” I say softly.
