Confusion and heartbreak

Luna's pov:
He saw me and gave me evil smirk i rolled my eyes and went to class i saw alex and jay talking, i totally forgot about jay and the thing he did at the party, i sat next to alex and jay made eye contact with me
Luna:"hey alex how are you?"
Alex:"hungover as fuck"
Luna:"I'm sorry, you got in that fight because of me"
Alex:"comon luna you are my best friend the least i can do is to protect you" i smiled at him and jay asked
Jay:"whose clothes are you wearing?"
Luna:"Billies"
Jay:"oh you stayed over at her place?"
Luna:"yeah is there a problem with that?"
Jay:"no i was just asking" yeah right 'just asking' why is he acting like this we have been friends since middle school and i never thought he would start liking me. Class was boring and jays looks were making me so uncomfortable. When the bell rang i didn't rushed out of there i don't know what I'm supposed to do about jay i don't wanna ruin out friendship but he is making me too uncomfortable i don't know I'm gonna talk to others at lunch, i got to my locker and i saw Kate the girl that moved here like 3 years ago talking to billie they were laughing and she was touching billies shoulder and stuff was she flirting with her?? Why do i even care me and billie are not even that close friends but still i didn't liked the way they were looking at each other
Ava:"hey girll whats up you don't look good is everything okay?"
Luna:"i don't fucking know anymore ava all that shit that happened yesterday and now jay is acting like a freak and i don't know im gonna go crazy"
Ava:"hey relax I'm gonna talk to jay at lunch about you guys" she hugged me and i sighed my friends are the best they are always here for me whenever i need them and i try my best to help them with everything i can.
*at lunch*
Ellie:"hi guys so hows everyone's day been so far?"
Alex:"its okay"
Valentina:"normal"
Noah:"boring as fuck"
Luna:"its shit"
Alex:"where are ava and jay?"
Ellie:"i don't know i guess they got somethings to get done for next lesson"
Billie's pov:
I don't know whats going on i think luna is straight but the way she looks at me and talks to me makes me feel like she feels other way about me, only thing i know is that i might be falling for her, her laugh and smile make my heart melt and every time i see her my heart skips a beat god she is so beautiful. I was walking to cafeteria and saw ava and jay talking privately should i listen to their conversation? Nah it's a bad idea or is it? I went and stood behind the door and pretended i was looking at my phone while listened to them talk
Ava:"jay whats going on with you and luna?"
Jay:"what do you mean?"
Ava:"you know what i mean you are looking her different way and at the bar yesterday you wanted to take her home and stuff whats going on?"
Jay:"you know what? Okay i like her but is it a problem?" I knew it the way he was looking at her i knew he was not just friends with luna
Ava:"and how does luna feel about it?"
Jay:"i don't know"
Ava:"well i know she doesn't like you and you are making her uncomfortable plus she likes another guy" wait what? No comon no she didn't just said another guy? I didn't listen to anything else and i just went to cafeteria i saw luna and we made eye contact, she smiled at me was it just a friendly smile? I don't know i didn't smile back at her and went to sit with my friends
Ava's pov:
Ava:"well i know she doesn't  like you and you are making her uncomfortable plus she likes another guy"
Jay:"oh a guy? I saw the way she was looking at that bitch billie yesterday and she was all over her they just met what did she do to get her heart in one day and i cant even make her to look at me"
Ava:"how long have you liked her?"
Jay:"since she broke up with levi"
Ava:"that long??"
Jay:"yeah" i don't want our friend group to get ruined because of this
Jay:"anyways okay I'm not gonna try anything with her if she is uncomfortable let's just got to cafeteria" wait does luna like billie? But how could that be she is straight
Luna's pov:
Did i do anything wrong? Billie walked by and i smiled at her and she didn't smile back she usually does i don't know whats going on plus she looks like somethings bothering her. Ava and jay can back and i looked at ava waiting for sign to know how talk went she nodded at me that means everything went well and she also lifted her eyebrows at me so she has some questions but what could they be? Whatever the good thing is everything went well.
*after lunch*
I saw billie in the hallway and went up to her
Luna:"hey how are you?"
Billie:"I'm fine" such a short and cold answer and she didn't even say hi at me something not good what did i do wrong? I looked at her and nodded she didn't pay attention to me at all and after she got things from her locker she left without saying single word I felt my eyes tearing up and i ran to the bathroom. I was crying in the bathroom when ava walked in and when she saw me crying she ran and hugged me she comforted me and asked
Ava:"whats going on girl talk to me"
Luna:i don't know whats up with me i think i like billie and today we were doing good but something happened and she was so cold to me"
Ava:"ohh, don't worry its gonna be okay girl"
She hugged me tight and we skipped our lesson.
Billie's pov:
I think i was cold to luna but whatever i gotta get over her I'm not gonna get my heart broken for some straight girl that i met 2 days ago. I walked in class and saw kate, i saw next to her and we started talking i think she likes me so i might use her so i can stop liking luna
Kate:"hey wanna come over to my place today?"
Billie:"sure"
Kate:"yayy imma text you my address"
Luna's pov:
Luna:"i think I'm gonna tell billie to come over and i will talk to her about some stuff"
Ava:"yeah thats a great idea" the bell rang and i got up and went to look for billie i saw her talking to kate while smiling, ugh I'm gonna start hating this girl soon i went up to them and said
Luna:"hey billie can i talk to you for a second?"
Billie:"okay" we stepped aside
Billie:"what do you want?"
Luna:"can we hang out today i gotta talk to you about something really important"
Billie:"nah I'm going over to Kate's house" my heart sank they liked each other and i was thinking another way my eyes teared up again
Luna:"oh okay" i said quickly while my voice cracked and walked away from her i hope she didn't notice that
