Fake Promises (Leehan X Taesan)

18. Welcome back, Leehan.

Leehan packed his luggage for Friday, although he didn't have any courage to face Taesan or Wonyoung. In fact, anyone, if he was being honest with himself

Leehan went into his bathroom and slowly soaked his whole body in his bathtub he closed his eyes and dropped his head into the hot water

Leehan kept his head under the water until he heard a knock on the bathroom door

"Donghyun!? Are you in there!?" It was his sister Leehan sighed softly before telling her to come in

"Oh! Why didn't you say that you were taking a bath?" Leehan hummed at her before making his lip kiss the water as he slowly sinked in with his eyes shut

"What time are you leaving to go to Korea?" Leehan opened his eyes before answering

"About 3 p.m." Seol-ya nodded and walked to the door to leave

"Donghyun.. Please don't put too much pressure upon yourself. It's okay to cry it out sometimes.." Seol-ya left without hearing an answer from Leehan

Leehan couldn't help but try his best to ignore her words as he didn't need reminders on what's really going on in his life

Leehan sat beside Matthew on the plane with his headphones on, and a warm blanket was wrapped around his cold body

Leehan was lost in thought despite listening to music. He felt cold fingers lightly tap him, which stopped his train of thoughts

"Leehan?" Leehan hummed at Matthew as a response

"What are you going to do when we arrive at Korea?" Leehan looked down and squinted his eyes a habit he got whenever he was thinking

"If I'm being honest.. I'm not sure.. I don't even know why I'm going back to Korea." Matthew heard the sadness in his voice and quickly put a hand over his shoulder and pat his head with the other

"I'm sorry I asked.. I think you should meet your friends again. Sungho would be so happy to see you. Actually, all of them will." Matthew smiled at Leehan

"I don't really think Taesan will miss me.." Matthew frowned at Leehan's whisper

"He will. He is, in fact." Leehan sighed deeply and closed his eyes

"How are you so sure? For all I know, he is getting married to a pretty IT girl."

"Leehan! Shut it if you're gonna be saying things like this. Of course, I'm sure Taesan is missing you... Leehan he is." Matthew heard Leehans hum in return, and he just sighed and shrugged it off. Leehan needed his space

"Leehan. Leehan! We arrived!" Matthew shook Leehan so that he could wake up

Leehan and Matthew grabbed their luggage and exited the plane to which they were met by Hanbin and Zhang Hao

"Hanbin hyung! Hao, hyung!" Matthew ran to them and immediately embraced them

"Hey Matthew!" Matthew released the hug and went to where Leehan stood

"Whoa, you brought Leehan with you!" Hao smiled brightly at seeing Leehan

"Yup! By the way, where is Jiwoon hyung?" Matthew frowned at the thought of his boyfriend not being around

"Matthew... I'm going by the bus station... I really wanna see Riwoo hyung and the rest." Leehan grabbed his luggage and was about to leave

"Wait! We can drop you." Hanbin answered before Leehan could leave

Hao and Hanbin helped Leehan to their car and put his luggage inside the car for him

"Yah! Are you guys forgetting me? I have to go home too!" Matthew sulked at them before feeling himself being lifted into the air he looked behind and saw Jiwoong

"How could you think I forgot you." With that, Jiwoong took Matthew to his car to carry him home

Leehan couldn't help but be reminded of how Taesan would effortlessly lift him into the air whenever they hugged

Leehan sat in Haobin's car silently with his headphones on. His eyes slowly wondered to the front seat, and he noticed that Hanbin's hand was on Hao's thigh, slowly rubbing it and squeezing it in between some of the rubs

Leehan closed his glossy eyes, trying to stop the tears from falling. Almost everything that is happening he some how remembers Taesan

Finally, after the suffocating drive, Leehan was assisted in putting his things outside of the house

Leehan bid his goodbyes to them before knocking on the door. The door slowly opened, revealing Sungho. He opened the door wider before rubbing his glasses

"Leehan!! You're finally back! I've missed you!" Sungho hugged Leehan and sobbed happy tears into his shoulder

Sungho pulled Leehan inside, and he grabbed his luggage also. Leehan entered and saw Riwoo and Jaehyung talking, and Woonhak was resting his head on Riwoo while eating snacks

"I'm back~" All of them turned their heads and saw Leehan they all quickly ran to him, fitting him into a group hug

"We missed you so much!"

After their long hugging and catching up on each others life session was over, they all sat on the couch silently

"I have an odd question. You guys have to answer truthfully." Jaehyun nodded at Leehan's words

"Is Taesan and Wonyoung getting... Married?" Riwoo gasped and quickly covered Woonhak's ears

"How did you know?.." Sungho's jaw was to the floor

"I have my ways.. Anyways, assuming by your answer, it's true." Leehan felt his throat go dry

He didn't want to accept it or believe it. But it was all true. Taesan had lied

Leehan pov

I felt a lump form in my throat. The headache crawled its way back to me as I thought about their wedding

I didn't notice that there were hot tears streaming down my face, making me frown at the sudden wetness and heat

I closed my eyes and felt someone's warm embrace wrap around me

The scent was Riwoo, I quickly hugged him back, and I forced my tears back in, stifling myself silently

I panted like crazy trying to catch my breath. The world was spinning, and I felt the snacks and food I ate slowly made its way to the surface

I hated the fact that I was crying over Taesan. He had betrayed me and probably didn't care after he did it

I pulled away from the hug before going to the bathroom, where I silently broke down

Everything I didn't want to accept found its way back. It was like all the pressure and fustration had me in a tight chokehold, leaving me no space to breathe

The only thing in my mind was the fact that Taesan was marrying Wonyoung after she did what she had to do to me

She finally got to him. That's all that matters, I just couldn't shake off one thought, and that was

Taesan had made Fake Promises
