The fog-laden winter has arrived in nature. All around, a hazy blanket has enveloped everything. Autumn has fled, retreating before the chill of winter. Nature's appearance has changed, the rhythm of human life has also shifted within it. Joy glistens in some hearts, while sorrow flies like birds in others.
People's minds have transformed, life has altered. Taehyung, Jungkook, and Y/N’s lives have changed too. It has been two months since Y/N’s wedding, Taehyung’s election is in two days, and Jungkook and Jimin are spending their days and nights buried in studies. After this month, the matriculation exams will arrive unannounced. Jungkook and Jimin have no time to breathe as they prepare for it. The two best friends barely get a chance to speak with each other. Yet, they never forget to speak even for a moment with their beloveds, both burning in the fire of affection.
Jungkook opened the window shutters and stood. The cold, intoxicating air sent a shiver through his bones effortlessly. With trembling hands, he managed to close the window and return to the room. Turning around, he was surprised to see his mother. In a soft voice, he asked, "You're here, Mom?"
He glanced towards her hands with a questioning look. Lisa removed the lid from a shiny round container and lovingly said, “I spoke to your Jin aunt. He told you to visit Kim's Haven. I’ve made some steamed Sundubu, take them. Your father went to bed after coming from the shop. Return quickly.”
(A/N: Sundubu is a Korean food, a soft tofu stew, seasoned with chili powder, garlic, and soy sauce, usually contains vegetables, meat, and seafood, creating a warm and spicy meal.)
Jungkook’s heart has been dancing with delight for quite some time now. Why, or for what reason, he can’t say. Wrapping the velvet sweater around him, he strolled to the Kim's Haven. For the past few week, Taehyung hasn't responded to his calls. Perhaps he's deeply occupied with election matters. Jungkook thought to himself how dull a politician boyfriend could be.
Entering the mansion, Jungkook wondered if anyone was awake so early. The household maid opened the door and said, "Sit down, Dr. sir is in the room, I’ll let him know."
"Okay."
Just then, Jin approached in hurried steps. He was holding a bright coloured wedding gown in his hands. It looked quite heavy. Hugging it close to his chest, Jin came forward and placed it on the sofa, exhaling a long sigh.
"Finally, you’re here. You haven’t set foot in this house for the past two months, angel. Here, look, your future husband brought this for you last night. All wedding preparations are almost done. I’m just waiting for Taehyung’s mood to settle, then we’ll go directly to your house with proposal."
Jungkook stared at the pretty piece of clothing with wide eyes. He didn’t dare to touch it. Everyone has endless dreams about their wedding outfits, he has that dreams too. This outfit looks just like what he imagined.
Jungkook's father’s mood hasn’t been good ever since he lost the council election. He’s been perpetually angry. This was bound to happen. Namjoon has a significant reputation and authority in the entire Busan, with influence in high places. His greatest strength, of course, is Taehyung. The moment he thought of Taehyung as his future husband, a shock ran through him. In a soft voice, he asked,
"Is Taehyungie hyung here?"
