Phil and I got to the top floor, I slowly opened the door to my room. Posters all over the walls a few pairs of clothes and well more posters.

"I like your posters." Phil said looking around.

"Thanks." I said walking over to my bed. Reaching under the bed I pulled out my suitcase. Phil helped me but everything in the suitcase and we went downstairs to get Dan.

TIME SKIPISH (LET ME CATCH YOU UP THEY WENT DOWNSTAIRS GOT DAN AND ARE NOW GETTING ON THE BUS ANY QUESTIONS NO OKAY)

I stepped onto the bus.

"Why did you guys adopt me?" I asked as we sat down.

"We kinda thought no one would adopt you and we didn't want you to die in there." Phil explained. I looked at the ground.

"So out of pity, you adopted me out of pity?" I said making sure I was correct.

"Yes and no, Sam in there it was out of pity now we kinda like ya." Dan said.  We rode the rest of the way in silence, my bag hitting my knees making me grunt occasionally. Finally we made it to the apartment.

"So Sam, how old are you?" Dan asked.

"16 why?" I asked.

"Oh thank god. We bought some stuff for your room. We didn't know if they would actually get 16 year old girl." He explained.

We walked into the apartment, I pinched myself multiple times, making sure I wasn't dreaming.

"Sam, you're not dreaming." Phil said grabbing my hand before I could pinch myself again.

"So this is what it looks like in person?" I asked my voice hushed. Dan nodded.

"Let me show you your room." Dan said, taking my suitcase from me. I followed him around through the apartment. When I got to my room I stood in the hallway, waiting for Dan to come back out to get me. He eventually came back to get me.

I walked into my room, it was dark blue with glow in the dark stars on the ceiling. I laughed at the stars.

"Hey, I didn't want to put them there, that was Phil's idea. We can take them down if you want to." Dan said, throwing his arms up defensively.

"No, I like them." I said, my head tilted up looking at the them.

Dan laughed, and pulled me into a hug. I laughed too. Soon Phil came in and joined in on the laughing. Then I knew that I would be really happy with the this new life.

"Hey Sam, get a good nights sleep you have school tomorrow." Phil said, my eyes went wide with horror.

"Shit," I whispered under my breathe.
