Chapter 5

"So what's up,Gojo-sensei?"

"You tell me.Why is your thumb bleeding?"

Itadori looked at his left thumb in shock.He hadn't realized that Sukuna's teeth had sunk deep into his skin. But then again he'd once lost his hand and was unfazed.

"Sukuna bit me. It's nothing really."

"And why did he bite you?"

"Kugisaki was yapping too much and he told her to shut up.Then he started talking nonsense and I put my thumb in his mouth to shut him up.He then bit me and left."

"What nonsense did he say ?"

Itadori paused. There was a reason why he apologized to Fushiguro in a hushed voice. He simply didn't want other people involved. But he knew Gojo needed to know this .Their lives probably depended on it.He took a deep breath and said.

"He said he ...wanted me to organize a ...pri-private meeting with Fushiguro. But I won't let him have that.The last time that happened,I dropped dead at Fushiguro's feet. And I'm not going to put him through that again."

"You really care for Fushiguro,don't you?"

"Of course, he's the reason I'm still alive.I owe him my life."

When Itadori said that, he wasn't really paying attention to the question and just answered the first thing on his mind,the main reason he's protective of Fushiguro.It was only when he saw the smirk on Gojo's face that he realized what he was aiming at.

"It's totally not like that,sensei!Trust me,I have no interest in your son figure .You know I like tall girls with big asses,like Jennifer Lawrence and Megan thee Stallion.I'm into him platonically."He clarified and bowed deeply.

Gojo was shocked. He never thought Itadori would act so respectfully .He seemed to seriously not want to bring confusion about his relationship with Fushiguro.There had to be a deeper meaning to his answer but he didn't want to pry into their personal lives.

"Ok,ok,I've understood."His expression then changed drastically .

"Now,onto the main agenda.The higher-ups just sent the suits to be worn to the event. Normally, all the suits and dresses are black for uniformity. But they have sent five suits with white coats,probably for those they deem as problem children.Try and guess who they are for."

"Um,ok.I'm probably the first one on their list.Maybe Maki-senpai?"

"And why do you think Maki is on their list?"Gojo asked curiously.

"She has a goal : To become a great sorcerer.And when she does,she plans to go and massacre her clan for being heartless power seekers . She is very close to that and therefore poses a threat to her entire clan."

Gojo was even more shocked.He never thought Itadori could think like that.The boy kept surprising him every day.

"That's an interesting argument.But the higher-ups don't know that,so she's not wearing white."

"Then who is?"

"Yuta,the two third years who were expelled,you and me."

Itadori was shocked.Why was Gojo on that list?And there were third years who were expelled?!Was he the only one who didn't know this?

"Now, Yuji,can you tell me the similarities between two special grade sorcerers, two third years who got themselves expelled and Sukuna's vessel?"

Itadori thought for a while. Sukuna was the only evil one between them. Gojo wasn't exactly a student.He didn't know anything about the third years.Then it clicked in his head.
