I inched closer to the castle still under my disguise. Oliver was already there waiting for me. He had chosen a guard disguise for himself which would be helpful to sneak into the palace without question. “Are you going in...like that?” he asks with a raised eyebrow and pointing at my outfit. I just smirked and with a snap of my fingers I was now wearing elven guard uniform. He walked passed me scoffing “show off.”

Oliver was better in spying than I was his power is shadow bending which helps him remain hidden in well...shadows, ironic. It's how he got information about the goddess blessed. If any of this is true then he could help me defeat the evil queen and free my people. Reminded by the screams of that day made anger bubble up inside me. Then I felt a firm grip on my arm and by instinct I twisted it behind the owner and my blades were pressed into his back in warning then opened my eyes to see it was Oliver.

“Whoah, you don't want to hurt your favorite brother now do you?” I let him go. “you gonna do something about that.?”I followed his gaze towards me and I was covered faint speaks of lightning. I took a breath and it was gone. “who says you are my favorite ?” I ask my voice mocking. “when am I not, dear brother?” We then made our way through the palace like we had done a few times in the past just out of curiosity and because Oliver would practically beg for us to go claiming it was for I say and quote *practice purposes*.but I always knew it was something else but I didn't press on it because I trust him.

He is the only one I ever told about my anger problems which my control slip and he promised to keep me in check. I was a lightning bender and I was destruction. That's why I had to train harder because just one mistake and I could obliterate everything around me in just seconds. Gerald made me wake up really early to take laps on the beach so that I could wield and release my power without hurting anyone and anything plus it also reduces its charge. He told me that my father would be proud of my power and I believed him because my father was a fan of violence most goblins are.

Leonor had also loved me like a son and even we were all grown she would scold us, including Gerald, like kids when we were late for supper because we were running errands or from training but I know she's just worried something might have happened to us. We would just kiss her on the forehead and shower her with praises to distract her from why she is really mad “I'm sorry, my beautiful wife, my light” she just holds him painfully by the ear and blame him for tiring her boys with training.

This was funny because he was a muscled giant but still cowered before his wife. After dealing with him she smacked me and Oliver on the back of our head and send us to clean up before we set foot in her kitchen. No one in their right mind would do that and had it been anyone else I would break them limb from limb before they even get a chance. But Leonor is my mother and I love her.

All the while Adeline would watch bursting in laughter. “Not so tough huh, Oliver?” she said breathless from laughing. “shut up.” he answered still rubbing his head.
“what about you Percy?” she asked teasingly. “why don't we test that shall we.?” with that I hauled her effortlessly on my shoulder and she squeezed so loud my eardrums probably burst. “Put me down you barbarian.!” she commands as she tried to wiggle herself of my hold.

“Us the trick I showed you Addie.” Oliver instructed and before I could understand what the heck was going on she crossed her limbs on my torso a twisted using her weight and I was flat on my ass in seconds. “That was good Sis but your form needs more work” I said beaming at her then left to shower before we suffer another round of Leonor's wrath. Addie is sweet and kind to everyone and me and Oliver are afraid people might take advantage of her for it. So we promised to keep her safe and make sure she's strong enough to face anything.

We trained her ourselves instead of Gerald because he can be a l rough and ruthless. He cares about us but sometimes he is more of a general than a father and we were his army. He got worse by time and he would lash out sometimes and one time he almost hurt Addie accidentally using his powers. But we looked after Addie and Leonor and never let them alone with him when he was in a mood.

Addies power don't manifest in a year but during her training I realized she was fast in her movements and had light feet almost like she was a floating flower. She would beg us to take her to the outside world but we wouldn't, not until she had her powers. We know she could get lonely at times but It was dangerous for her without her powers because it could manifest anytime if triggered and not knowing what it is could make it hard to control.

That's the reason why we didn't bring her along for this otherwise she would be useful with that big brain of hers that she got from Leonor and spending most of her time reading all kinds of books we bring her. The plan was to roam around palace staff and try to her for anything that would lead us to our target and as if Ivander heard our prayers “Celia, please tell us about her, what's she like” we heard some of the maids excitedly interrogate another maid. So the warrior is a girl, that certainly peaqued my interest.

We exchanged glances with Oliver acknowledging that he is heard too. We inched closer and used our sharp hearing to hear the conversation. “She's nice and really pretty like the goddesses herself.” the other maid answered making the others go silent intent on listening to more. Surprisingly I was too. “she stayed in the human realm thus she knows nothing of our world and thought she didn't say it I sense she has been through a lot.” she continued.

The thought of her her in pain made me want to comfort her and murder the one responsible and realized I was GROWLING. What the hell!! why do I feel that for someone I haven't t met. He turned to see Oliver giving him a weird look but he ignored him and hinted at following the maid who would probably lead them to her suddenly more interested in finding her than anything.

“You can't go and you know why.” I said then switched to an invisible form. Oliver still hasn't mastered this so it would be better if I went alone unseen. I expected him to protest but he did quite the opposite actually by smiling and immediately turned to leave quickly almost running. I followed where the maid had went through and was now with a woman who blocked from my view by a wall.

That's when I felt it. A powerful tug that was calling to me urging me forward to her. Its call was too strong to ignore so I was forced to oblige. I moved closer carefull not to make a sound though they couldn't see me doesn't mean they couldn't hear me. I heard them bid each other good bye and the maid passed me heading to an opposite direction from her oblivious to my presence and I took that chance to face the woman fully and there she was I saw her
