Jazz Nights. (Leah Williamson)

A/N: I decided to write this from leah's pov, keep that in mind.

"Okay, so where did you find this place?" i asked beth as she began driving. 

"It's new, they just opened a few weeks ago...it's supposed to be great." beth said. I was in the back seat of the car, next to katie and caitlin. Viv was up in the front next to beth. "You wanna know who's singing tonight?" beth asked me.

"Who?" she had caught my attention with the question.

"Y/n." she said.

Y/n.

I looked over at beth and stared at her, she had caught me off guard. I felt eyes on me, i turned to look at katie and caitlin, both of them were staring right at me. I shrugged and narrowed my eyes. 

"What." i said crossing my arms. 

"Nothing." katie said giving me that smirk, i knew that smirk. 

"She's a friend?" caitlin asked looking at me. 

"Y-Yeah." i nodded. 

Nobody but Beth, Viv and I knew who y/n was. That's how I had met her in the first place, through beth. It had been a while since i had seen her, i was way more excited about going out tonight. It was our free day and i had nothing planned until a few hours ago when beth texted me, she told me to get ready by 7pm. I knew that y/n sang, that was one of my favorite things about her. I would never stand in front of an audience, she's braver than me. 

"But yeah, she's the one who told me about the bar. She told me she sings on Saturdays and Fridays." beth said. "The bar has live music all the time, and the food is supposed to be amazing." beth kept going on about things i couldn't care less about.

After the drive into the city, we got there and katie and caitlin got out of the car first. 

"I'm going to go in and see if our table is ready..." viv said before getting out of the car.

"Um- beth?" i said from the backseat, taking my seatbelt off. Beth turned to me and nodded. "How long has it been since you've seen y/n?" i asked her. 

"Uh- well football season has been going on for a while so i haven't been able to hang out a lot...so it's been a while. Why do you ask?" beth said with concern. 

"I just- was just wondering...i mean-" i shrugged not knowing how to put it out. "What if she doesn't remember you- or me?" i said.

"Leah, she's not stupid. She's gonna remember us." beth said before getting out of the car. I followed behind her and walked over to the entrance. 

"Do I look...decent?" i grabbed beth's shoulder and made her look at what i was wearing. "It's not too casual?" 

"Leah, you look fine. What is it with you?" beth smiled and shook her head. 

"Nothing, it just looks fancy." i said peeking inside of the bar. 

"It does, doesn't it?" beth said opening the door. I walked in following her, my eyes roaming the whole bar looking for her, i wasn't expecting her to be there out in the open but i just couldn't wait to see her. I followed beth as she walked to the table, i sat down in the middle of caitlin and viv.
