IN THE PREVIOUS CHAPTER

After their evening shopping , the two girls got back to the hotel where their men were supposedly sleeping.

But one of the girls knew her man wouldn't be asleep. And it was none other than ines .

once she said goodnight she went back to her room where she found eduardo in the dark with only the tv turned on .

"oh you're back" he said as he turned around in order to see her .

"yeah it was so good!" she said with her bags .

"you know i could've gave you forty times this" he said with a smile seeing how happy she could get over little things .

"um yes i know you're very kind but i don't wanna be dependent of you, thank you though love you" she says returning the smile.

she crouched down to look for her pyjamas in her suitcase, and as the needy man he is he didn't lose a crumb of it . and she was very much aware of it .

she went to the bathroom to change do her skincare and tie her hair, and when she came back she noticed that he left her a spot on the bed .

"come here" he said while patting the bed as she walked over to the bed.

she snuggled in the bed next to him and he didn't lose his time and immediately kissed her , to which she didn't refuse . it was rather on the gentle side as a way of saying goodnight.

"rest well i hope you win your game tomorrow" she said as they quickly kissed once again.

and with that they both crashed into sleep.

the next day eduardo had to wake up at 7:30 for training because in two days they would be starting to play for the Euros.

he woke up , kissed ines' forehead before getting out of bed and washing his face .

he put his france kit on and by the time he got out of the bathroom , ines woke up because she couldn't feel him around .

"good morning" she said in a sleepy voice , still in bed .

"good morning!" he said in a bit more energetic tone than hers .

he went over to her and kissed her on the lips quickly before getting his sports bag ready.

"are you stressed about the EUROs?" she asked curious .

"if i'm being honest i wouldn't say that i don't care but i'm not that worried about the start" he said putting his change into the bag .

"it's better like this cause if you're chill you'll play well , whereas if you're stressed you'll be tensed and you'd feel it on the pitch" she said .

"yeah totally , you're way too aware about this!" he said .

"maybe cause carlo (ancelotti) is my godfather, just maybe!" she said laughing .
