Wintumn + Reece

Reece opened the door to Autumn and Winter's house, his breath choked in his chest as he turned the key. He opened the door his hand trembling. 

To his relief he was met with a sight of Autumn asleep on Winter his lap who was awoken by the opening of the door. Winter put his finger on his lips to silently tell Reece to be quiet, Reece nodded as he softly closed the door. Winter slowly moved Autumn off his lap and got up gesturing for Reece to follow him to their kitchen, once there Winter crossed his arms over his chest "everything okay with Marjorie and Aurelia?" he spoke. Reece nodded "yeah no they're fine" he looked at the floor scratching his head clearly nervous. 

Reece knew the sight of Autumn asleep like that might be normal to others but he knew his sister, the girl who wouldnt even let him hug her as a child now asleep like that. Reece his taught process was interrupted by Winter his voice "Not trying to be rude but then why are you here?"

Reece regained his posture as he swallowed the lump in his troath, "I just... had a gut feeling and it just felt like I needed to check on Aut" Winter's eyes widened realising that the only gut feeling there could have been, had to do with the fact that Autumn had tried to take her own life.

Reece noticed the change in Winter's demeanour, he realised he had been right "Winter....what happened?" He asked. Winter sighed looking up at Reece, "she was planning on taking her life tonight. Because she has been going trough hell and back, we just...never noticed it" He spoke as his voice filled with emotion.

Reece felt his heart drop as he trembled onto a chair, he shook his head as even more guilt filled his heart and mind "no no it can't...she can't..." he looked up at Winter as his eyes filled with tears. "I am so sorry Winter...."

Winter shook his head putting a hand on Reece his shoulder "Don't, Autumn and I both agreed to help. I should've seen she was struggeling, none of this is your fault reece." Winter spoke, his voice slightly breaking.

The two men talking had woken Autumn up, she sat up as she tried to recenter herself to her surroundings. Once she clicked it was Reece who was talking to Winter she got up walking to the kitchen door as she listened to him speak.

"No no I'm sorry for the fact you guys wanted that baby so bad, but instead we got her. God if I could change the way the stars aligned I would, nobody deserves to be parents more then you and Aut, I'm so sorry for the way things have gone." Reece his voice was filled with guilt and emotion. The kitchen door opened, Autumn stood in the door way as Reece got up.

Autumn looked at her brother, her gaze mixed with anger and pain. She walked to him, Reece braced himself for a punch in the face. But instead Autumn flung her arms around him burying her face in his chest as she let out a sob.

"Reece I want nothing more then for you and Marjorie to be happy, don't feel guilty for the blessing you two have gotten. Don't feel guilty for the way things went, I'm not mad at you I'm mad at the man who is called God. Cause our whole life we where told it was all his plan, but none of it was fair to either of us"

Reece put his arms around Autumn as he pressed his head on hers
"I'm so sorry for what we've been trough aut"
