After we've showered and cleaned ourselves up, we meet everyone downstairs. Eli sits on the couch next to me and puts his hand on my thigh, rubbing it softly as he looks down at me, licking his lips. I smile a devious smile at him before responding.

"What is it?" I ask him, grinning.

"Nothing, just thinking about you."

"Yeah?" I question, "And what are you thinking about exactly?"

He grins and looks down before making eye contact with me and licking his lips once more. He leans over slightly and puts his lips to my ear, his breath cool on my skin.

"Pinning you against the mattress and making another baby tonight." he says boldly.

My stomach twists as he backs away and sinks into the couch, leaving me in my thoughts. Reiner, Cayson, and Karla are all sitting in the room along with a few friends of Eli's. The room is buzzing with chatter before Elijah's loud voice breaks it up.

"Alright," he starts, "We need to talk about how to execute this mission tonight. This mission is personal and it hits home. If we're gonna do this, we're gonna do it big." he says.

"So what's the plan?" Cayson asks.

"There's a banquet tonight. The host is Iriviana Dermaz, an ally of Carrie's, so there's no doubt she'll be there. Only thing is, there's a guest list, so we'll have to sneak our way in." he starts. "Reiner, you'll sneak in through the back and try getting us in through the front, can you do that?"

"No problem." he replies.

"Me and Leilah will be together, as well as Cayson and Karla. The rest of you will wait out in the truck in case we need any backup. We don't need too many of us coming in at once, it'll be too suspicious." Eli concludes.

"Sounds like a plan." Cayson responds.

"Good. We've got about 7 hours. Stay on your toes tonight."

Everyone gets up and goes their separate ways. Eli stands up and grabs my hands, pulling me out of my seat. He places a quick kiss on my lips and smiles, looking my face over.

"What?" I ask through a smile.

"Nothing. I've got a surprise for you."

"For me?" I respond, gasping sarcastically.

"Yes, you." he says with a big smile on his face. "Go get ready," he says, kissing me once, "put on your prettiest dress," he continues, kissing me again, "and go out with me." he finishes, placing a final kiss on my lips.

"Elijah, we can't, Rein's been with the baby for a while n-"

"Shhhh," he interrupts, "He already knows."

I sigh, worried. "Are you sure?" I ask, an unsure look on my face."

"He's sure." Reiner suddenly comes. "I got this, you two go."

"Thank you Reiner." I say appreciatively. I look back at Elijah, kissing him slow and deep. "Okay." I say, our lips breaths apart.

He leans back in for another kiss and earns another smile from me. A while later, Eli is coming downstairs to grab the baby from me and place a kiss on his head. I place a final kiss to his cheek before letting Reiner grab him.

"Are you sure this is okay, Rein?"

"I'm sure. You guys go." he ensures me.

"Bye Mav, Mommy and Daddy love you." I say as I walk towards the door.
