It was a cold day for the summer. Sarah was minding her own business, looking down at the street from her bedroom window.
It was dark and there were a couple of stars out, but not too many.
Turning around to sit at her desk, she sighs. A book catches her eye. It looks familiar, like she has read it before, but she doesn't remember.
Sarah picks it up and begins to read it. The first few pages are very confusing but she gradually begins to remember it.
It's about a young girl. She has aspirations and dreams but her mother is constantly cutting her down to size.
Her eyes tell you she wants to fight back against her but her smile tells you that she's too far gone..anything she might have accomplished is out of the window.
When a handsome trespasser and notorious criminal comes by her house, looking for somewhere to hide himself- and his most prized possession, she finds him and makes a deal.
She would give his item back if he takes her to achieve her biggest dream.
In just a few hours Sarah had completed the book. Now bored, she decides to draw.
In the middle of this, several extremely loud bangs started sounding out from the front door. There was a little shouting before lots of footsteps thundered up to her bedroom.
She gasped as a police squad burst into her bedroom, guns pointed at her.
"Ms. Summers, we have a warrant for your arrest." Says one man in a suit.
"Arrest? What?" She was too dazed to be nervous.
"Theft and treason." He says, walking up to her. Her instincts kick in and she tries to kick the man, only to be greeted with a bullet through the chest.

Stacy woke up, her pillows damp with sweat.
She had just had the worst dream. She couldn't remember what it was about, but it was scary and somewhat unrealistic.
Padding down the stairs groggily, she mutters under her breath angrily about the television being on too loud.
Her black hair was messy and her blue eyes looked lifeless. She looked dead, if you will, but seemed to brighten up a bit when she noticed her younger brother, Stefan, watching her all time favourite TV show and cartoon, Gravity Falls.
Then, it kicked in.
