As soon as the door closed behind Seungcheol and Jeonghan, Seokmin's cheerful façade vanished, replaced by a cold fury that made Jisoo's blood run cold. The moment they were alone, Seokmin turned to him, his jaw clenched, and there was an unsettling glint in his eyes. He approached slowly, each step heavy, his face twisted with hurt and betrayal that he projected entirely onto Jisoo,

"So.... you thought you could invite them here?" Seokmin's voice was a deadly whisper, his tone dripping with accusation. "I told you. I told you that we don't need anyone else, didn't I? But you..you went behind my back."

"Seokmin, I didn't--" Jisoo's voice shook, trying to steady himself, but Seokmin's glare silenced him instantly. He felt his own heart beating erratically, a sense of dread building inside him,

"No, Jisoo. You invited them," Seokmin insisted, his voice rising "You practically begged them to come, didn't you?" His hands clenched into fists, and Jisoo could see the battle waging inside him, the rage that Seokmin struggled to keep in check

"Seokmin, I promise, I didn't-" Jisoo tried to explain, his voice cracking under the pressure. "I wouldn't go against you like that. Jeonghan... he just wanted to visit."

But his words only seemed to fuel Seokmin's anger. Seokmin's face twisted, and before Jisoo could even process it, he felt the sharp sting of a slap across his face. The force made him stumble, his cheek burning from the impact.

But Seokmin wasn't finished.

In a sudden, brutal outburst, he grabbed Jisoo by the collar and shoved him against the wall, his fingers digging into Jisoo's skin with an almost painful grip

"Why do you make me do this?" Seokmin's voice cracked, his anger mixing with anguish as he looked at Jisoo with tear-filled eyes. "Why, Jisoo? Why do you force me to act like this? I never wanted to hurt you... but you leave me no choice."

The next blow came harder, a punch to his stomach that made Jisoo double over, gasping for air. The pain radiated through him, but he could barely process it over the guilt Seokmin kept pouring into his words. It was as though Seokmin's hands and his words were waging a coordinated attack, breaking Jisoo down physically and emotionally at the same time.

"You..you make me this way!" Seokmin choked out, his hands trembling as he delivered another hit. "If you just listened... if you just understood how much I love you, Jisoo! Why can't you see that?"

Jisoo could barely stand, his legs giving way as he crumpled to the floor, his body aching from Seokmin's assault. He felt tears spill down his cheeks, and the words he wanted to say--pleas, apologies anything that might stop this- caught in his throat

"Seokmin, please.." he managed, his voice barely a whisper. But Seokmin didn't stop. He knelt beside Jisoo, grabbing his face roughly and forcing him to look up. Jisoo's vision was blurred with tears, and through the haze, he saw Seokmin's face twisted in a mixture of rage and despair.

"You're crying? You're crying?" Seokmin's voice was a broken whisper, and then he let out a bitter laugh, almost a sob. "You think you're the one who's hurting here? You have no idea what you put me through, Jisoo... No idea how much I love you. How much I'd do to keep you safe."

Seokmin's tears fell onto Jisoo's bruised face, but Jisoo couldn't tell if they were tears of remorse or madness. He tried to move, to push Seokmin's hand away, but Seokmin tightened his grip, his fingers digging painfully into Jisoo's jaw.

"You... you made me do this." Seokmin's voice was a broken whisper, and he looked at Jisoo as though he were the one who had caused all of this. "Why, Jisoo? Why do you keep testing me? Why do you force me to hurt you?"

Jisoo felt himself trembling, unable to respond, and all he could do was look up at Seokmin with a mixture of fear and heartbreak. His voice was gone, his body was exhausted, and the sharp pain from each bruise reminded him that he was, in Seokmin's eyes, responsible for this nightmare.

As Seokmin's grip finally slackened, Jisoo fell back, too weak to even sit up. He felt Seokmin's hands leave him, but Seokmin's presence lingered, his breath shaky, his face streaked with tears as he continued to stare down at Jisoo.

"I'm doing this for us," Seokmin whispered, almost to himself. "One day, you'll understand...you'll see that everything I do, I do for you."

With those words, he left Jisoo lying on the floor, broken, alone, and feeling as though he had somehow caused all of this pain, all of this violence. He felt his own tears mix with Seokmin's that had fallen on him, and in the suffocating silence that followed, he could only wonder how he had ever ended up here, chained by someone who called this obsession love.
