CHARMED HIMSELF A GIRL,
His worst enemy; who he knew he'd have to sacrifice in order to accomplish his plans. A piece of the person who he was connected to; bonded to; a fragment of the soul that was connected to him, a burning fire, a figment of him, swallowed whole. It was meaningless, surely; spitfire words and pieces together to unravel his plan. He would be immortal, and she would be dead.

He asked himself this everyday, every night, in the wake of the hour when he saw her eyes implanted; burned, into the back of his mind. So sweet, so innocent, so full of joy and that mischievous grin. A snake and a badger surely couldn't rival each other, but somehow he'd met his match.
