They were having fun, and there were a few consequences for losing, which only added to the laughter. The noise in the apartment grew loud, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. It was worth noting that Jay's dad actually owned the building, which was why Jay's room was the biggest of them all. He didn't have a roommate and had a king-sized bed.
After a long night of games and laughter, everyone seemed tired, some already yawning.
"Shall we call it a night?" Jungwon asked, and everyone agreed.
"Okay, let's get some rest now," Ni-ki said, standing up. They tidied up the cards and other things they had used to play.
However, in the brief silence that followed, they all turned their gaze toward Haejin.
"Why?" Haejin asked, curious as to why all eyes were suddenly on her.
"Where is she sleeping now that Heeseung is here?" Jake asked the boys.
"Ahh, Don't mind me," Haejin replied with assurance. "I'm fine sleeping here on the couch."But Jay shook his head. "Nah-ah, You can use my room. It's more comfortable than this couch."
"Mm, his room is the biggest here," Jungwon said, nodding."But how about Jay?" Haejin asked, looking at him.
"I'm fine, don't worry. I can use Sunghoon's bed," Jay said confidently.
Sunghoon raised an eyebrow. Seriously?
"But Sungho—" Haejin began to speak, but Sunghoon cut her off, already anticipating her concern. "It's fine," he said. "As long as she's comfortable, I'm willing to get uncomfortable."
"I can share a bed with Heeseung, unless you want me to share bed with you" Sunghoon added teasing her, and again eveyone's eyes looked at him judging. "I'm just kidding, relax." giving a reassuring smile.
"Problem solved. Good night, everybody!" Jake said, then headed straight to his room.
Jay accompanied Haejin to his room, followed by Sunoo and Sunghoon."Here. You can sleep here. Good night, Haejin," Jay said, opening the door for her before leaving.
"Haejin-ah, good nighty," Sunoo said, waving with a smile. They both waved at each other before Sunoo and Sunghoon left, and Haejin settled into Jay's room."If— you need something, just kno— I mean, just see me in my room," Sunghoon said to Haejin before closing the door. She nodded at him.
Haejin laid down on the bed and closed her eyes, but it wasn't long before she opened them again. She let out a deep sigh, sitting up and looking around the room. "This room is really huge. Even this bed is too big... and too soft," she murmured to herself.
She glanced at the door, contemplating whether she should go out or not.
After a moment of hesitation, she swung her feet onto the floor and stood up. She walked toward the door and stepped into the hallway, heading to Sunghoon's room. Now, standing in front of the door, she hesitated, torn with indecision.
Should I go inside? She bit her nails nervously, unsure of what to do.
Slowly, Haejin pushed her head through the door, carefully observing the room before finally stepping inside. She tiptoed toward Sunghoon, trying to make as little noise as possible. When she reached his bed, she crouched down into a full squat, resting her hands on her knees. She positioned herself beside the bed, facing Sunghoon, who was lying on his side, facing her direction.
She looked at him, about to wake him up, but as she reached for him, he suddenly grabbed her hand, causing her to freeze. He opened his eyes and saw her crouching in front of him.
