Megan Cameron, the youngest sister of Sarah and Rafe, had a secret that made her feel both special and isolated. By day, she was just the quiet girl in a world that seemed too loud and demanding. But when the sun dipped below the horizon, she transformed into the cutest, most adorable tiny frog imaginable. She never quite understood how or why this happened, but she cherished the freedom it offered—an opportunity to hide away from the prying eyes of others and their expectations. She doesn't expect anything to come out of the situation she is in.

One fateful night, as her siblings prepared for a party, Megan decided to break free from her usual confines. With determination, she slipped into a light pink and red fluffy mini dress that made her feel beautiful, even if she was still apprehensive about being seen. She snuck into the bustling house, her heart racing at the thought of mingling with the crowd. She wonders what it was like to live here.

As she navigated through the party, she kept her head down, hoping to remain invisible. That was until she unexpectedly collided with a solid figure. Strong arms wrapped around her, steadying her. She froze, her heart pounding like a drum. It was John B Routledge, the so-called "Pogue King." He was known for his cool demeanor and distance, but she had heard Sarah talk about him often—his charm, his laughter, the way he could light up a room. She never expected to come face-to-face with him and her heart raced.

Megan couldn't bring herself to look up. The warmth radiating from him made her cheeks flush. "Hey, I didn't see you there," he said softly, his eyes sparkling with curiosity. The hint of a smile graced his lips, making her stomach flutter. He held her gaze for a moment longer, then asked, "Would you like to dance?"

To her surprise, she nodded, feeling a rush of excitement as he took her hand and led her to the makeshift dance floor. The music enveloped them, and for the first time, she felt like she belonged. John B pulled her close, and she melted into his embrace, losing herself in the moment. She could feel the warmth of his body against hers, and every sway brought them closer together. The world around them faded away as they danced, and for those few minutes, it was just the two of them.

When the song reached its climax, John B leaned down, his lips just inches from hers. Time seemed to stop as he closed the distance, kissing her gently, as if he had found the most precious treasure in the world. She kissed him back, feeling as though she was floating on air. Everything else—the party, the people—disappeared; it was just them in a bubble of newfound emotions.

But their moment was shattered by a distant voice calling for him. Panic surged through Megan. She didn't want to leave him, but she knew she had to escape before anyone recognized her. With a soft, lingering kiss, she slipped away, heart racing as she ducked out of sight.

Once outside, she found refuge in the indoor pool area, a place where she could transform without anyone seeing. In a blink, she became the tiny frog, the world around her becoming larger and more daunting. She hopped to the edge of the pool, the water shimmering under the party lights. She wasn't ready for what was to come next.

Eavesdropping from her perch, she heard the faint voices of Sarah and Kiara through the thin walls. "John B can't stop talking about this girl he met tonight," Sarah said, her tone teasing yet curious. "He's smitten, Kie. You should've seen him!"

Megan's heart sank. She couldn't let John B find her, not when he was so enchanted by someone else. The thought of him discovering her secret terrified her. She had tasted love for the first time, but the fear of being discovered was too great. Determined to protect her heart, she decided she would avoid him—no matter how much it hurt. She doesn't know of her true feelings and wonders what is to come of it.

The night carried on, filled with laughter and music, but Megan felt isolated in her tiny form. She had kissed John B, the boy she had idolized from afar, yet she was now a mere frog hiding from the world. As she floated in the pool, she wished for the courage to be the girl he had danced with, to be the one he fell for, even if it meant risking everything.

Days turned into weeks, and the party faded from memory. But John B's thoughts lingered, chasing after the fleeting glimpse of the girl in pink, the girl he couldn't forget. Megan's heart ached as she watched him from afar, knowing she had to keep her distance to protect her secret. She could only hope that one day, they might find their way back to each other, two hearts destined to meet, even if one was hidden beneath the surface.
