Megan felt a mix of happiness and nervousness as she floated away from John B, grateful he hadn't seen her flushed cheeks when he'd mentioned the mysterious girl. The warmth of the moment lingered in her chest, and she couldn't help but smile as she decided to embrace her adorable self once again. She was ready for anything her heart wanted even if it meant something else entirely different.

With a little splash, she made her way back to the edge of the pool, climbing up onto her lilypad with ease. As she settled back onto the soft green surface, she took a moment to admire her fluffy onesie, feeling cozy and cute. The fabric was soft against her skin, and she loved how it made her feel—warm, playful, and a bit mischievous.

She reached for the leftover snacks from her earlier dinner, delighted at the thought of eating them in her frog form. There was something inherently charming about being a little frog with a fluffy onesie, and it filled her with joy. Picking up a tiny piece of fruit with her little hands, she took a bite and let out a satisfied croak, savoring the sweetness as it burst into her mouth. With each nibble, she listened intently to the laughter and chatter of her friends as they continued their conversations. Their voices filled the air, and she felt like she was a part of it all, even if they didn't know her secret. The camaraderie made her heart swell, and she wanted to stay in this moment forever.

Megan glanced back toward John B, who was now animatedly discussing something with JJ and Kie. They were all laughing, and John B's face lit up with joy, the earlier seriousness forgotten. She felt a swell of affection for him as he threw his head back in laughter, and her heart fluttered.

Deciding to take advantage of the moment, she hopped closer to the edge of the pool again, her little legs propelling her forward. The others were still caught up in their stories, and she knew she could sneak in a little closer without anyone noticing. She settled back down on her lilypad, propping her chin on her hands as she listened, nibbling on her food like the adorable little frog she was.

"Okay, who's going to bring the marshmallows tomorrow?" JJ asked, his voice loud and cheerful.

"I'll get them! I'm on it," Sarah chimed in, determination in her voice. "We'll have the best bonfire ever!"

Kie laughed, adding, "Just don't burn them this time! Remember last time when we ended up with crispy marshmallows?"

"I don't know what you're talking about!" Sarah protested, giggling as she shot a playful glare at her sister. "Those were gourmet!"

Megan couldn't help but giggle along, her tiny body shaking with delight as she listened to their banter. It felt so comforting to hear them tease each other and share their excitement for the bonfire. The warmth of their friendship surrounded her like a cozy blanket.

As the laughter subsided, Megan took a moment to relish her food and think about her plans for the bonfire. She wanted to be there, to share in the joy, but also to keep her secret safe. The thought of revealing herself to John B both thrilled and terrified her.

Suddenly, she heard John B's voice rise above the others. "I just really want to know if she'll show up! I mean, how amazing would it be to see her again?" His tone was earnest, and it made Megan's heart flutter once more.

"Just be yourself, man. If she's into you, she'll come back," JJ reassured him, clapping a hand on his shoulder. "You're the Pogues' king for a reason!"

"Yeah, you've got this," Kie added, her eyes sparkling with encouragement. "Just keep your eyes peeled for her. I'm sure she'll make her grand entrance."

Megan felt a rush of affection for her friends, especially for John B, who seemed, so hopeful and earnest. It made her want to do everything she could to make that happen. She wanted to show him the real her, not just the mysterious girl he'd kissed at the party but the girl who cared deeply for her friends and wanted to share her life with them. She hopes she can live up to what John B. heart wants.

As the night wore on and the conversations flowed, she returned to her food, enjoying the sweetness of the moment. She knew that tomorrow held promise, and as the last of the light faded from the sky, she felt a sense of anticipation build within her.

With her fluffy onesie wrapped around her and the warmth of friendship surrounding her, Megan savored every bite of her meal, feeling cute and playful as she hopped around the pool. She was determined to make the most of the bonfire tomorrow and perhaps, if the stars aligned, bridge the gap between her two worlds once and for all.
