Grand escape(short chapter)

Crystal watched as the person she looked up to most had a panic attack and didn't know what to do to help her and her body froze as she just watched Lesso cry while her body was trembling.

Did you have a nightmare? Crystal asked

I said not know Crystal. Lesso said

Can we talk about it? You don't look ok.. Crystal said

Crystal leave me alone. Lesso said laying on her head on the pillow and Crystal sat next to her on the bed and she heard Lesso's muffled cries through the pillow and she reluctantly hugged Lesso awkwardly while she was laying down.

Crystal, i get your trying to comfort me but I just need space. Lesso said and Crystal nodded letting go of Lesso and walking out the room shutting the door behind herself roaming the castle it was dark outside so the castle was dim the only source of light were the torches of green fire. She roamed the castle hearing faint voices as she walked she came across a door that lead to a dungeon of some sorts ss she walked down she saw guards torturing people who were either chained to a wall with their hands tied over their head or chained in a chair. A women with a clipboard and glasses with brown hair and blue eyes. She wasn't looking in crystal's direction she was more focused on what was on the clipboard.

Princess Victoria—

It's Vicki. She said sternly not looking up at him.

Does no one here face the person they're talking to? Crystal mumbled to herself

I've been telling you not to call me princess anything since I was 10, are you dumb? Vicki asked finally meeting his gaze.

Sorry, Vicki. He said and she looked back down at her clipboard and he took the chance to pin her against the wall making her head hit the wall hard.

leading Crystal through it and after 5 minutes of walking they reached the room Lesso and crystal we're staying in.

You two need to go. She plans on executing her tomorrow. Vicki said pointing to Lesso who was laying down. Crystal ran to wake her up and she looked drowsy and was giggling.

Lesso what's wrong with you?! Crystal asked and Victoria was searching the floor and saw an empty needle in the trash can.

Fuck you Alanah. Victoria said tossing it away.

What? What's wrong with her? Crystal asked

They drugged her, we need to take her to Queen Ava's kingdom so she can extract the poison because it'll take to long to wear off. Victoria said and crystal nodded and grabbed Lesso's wrist pulling her along with them through the secret passage leading outside to their carriage Victoria got in the driver's seat while they sat in the passenger seats. She sped off while the people in the streets ran out the way.

Lesso just go to sleep, ok? Crystal said and Lesso laid down in her lap falling asleep soon after.
