This takes place in high school. Nick and Matt are 21 and Chris is 15 (it's technically the same with me.) Names have been changed for characters except for the triplets..Idk why i'm writing this. But it's my way of finding closure for my friends death, is just to write what happened from another person's perspective. So technically I am Chris and this is my life.

Chris rarely had any friends his age, he never talked to the kids at school, even if he knew them his entire life. Because of embarassing things he did when he was a kid, he felt as if that's all they remember him as. The kid who always cried when he got bullied, the kid who those 4 boys would gang up on, blaming him for everything, the kid whose mom packed popcorn for lunch (don't ask questions), the kid who dosen't celebrate any holidays. He didn't want those memories to pop into their heads if he spoke, so he stayed quiet.

He met all most of his friends either from his brothers or his parents, so they were always older than him. The others, he met them online, but the number kept decreasing most of the time. To others, it was weird that he was friends with people who were in their 20's to 80's, but to him, it was normal. It was his whole life, having friends older than him. To Chris, older friends were good, they had more experience in life and could help out. But there was also a downside, the older you get, the more health problems you had. So for the ones in their 50's to 80's, they had a large number of problems.

That's what happened with his friends. A lot of them passed away due to the health problems, so he was used to what was going to happen. He knew it was going to happen. Ian had been dealing with problems for a while, cancer. A lot of Chris' friends seemed to have it nowadays. One passed away in July, the other in August. He just wished it wasn't today that it happened.

The night before, his mom informed him that Ian was getting worse. He was getting better, but it took a turn recently. Chris thanked her for the information and asked her to tell him if something happened, even if it was during the school day. They had stopped all treatment and put Ian in hospice, to make him comfortable for when he passes away. Ian was one of the only friends Chris knew his entire life and still talked to.

Chris' watch vibrated. His mom didn't let him have a phone at school, so he had his watch to listen to music and text people. He opened it to see a message from his mom

M = Mary-Lou

C = Chris

M - Hey Chris, is your watch working?

C - Yes, it is.

M - Okay

Chris was glad it was just his mom asking a question, not giving bad news. There was a few minutes of silence, other than the teacher talking. His watch vibrated again. He didn't think much of it, thinking it was just his mom asking another question. He opened it again.
