Chapter 2

-(yawn), what, it's already morning? Wait, I wore these clothes to dinner at the orphanage and then I still slept in them!?

[Affirmative.]

-Aaaah, at least the blood has dried, otherwise it would have stained my bed. I'm just going to change my clothes and make breakfast.

Going to my closet, I grab and put on a yellow jumpsuit with straps and a black blouse along with black leather combat boots. In case you're wondering how this fantasy world has these clothes. Know that I went to a tailor and the shoemaker and asked them to make most of my clothes, because I didn't want to wear skirts and dresses or wear flats and high heels, which were practically all the options for women's clothing on sale.

-I think there's still bread in the kitchen for me to eat.

So, when I finish breakfast, I grab some dried meats that I have in the pantry for the trip I'm about to take.

 [Wouldn't the host like to put his luggage in the inventory?]

-What? Oh yes, you can move it to the inventory.

After the system puts my dried meats in the inventory, I keep my linen bag with all my money along with the food. Even though my money is worthless in the other world, its metal must at least be worth something.

-hmmmm, I'm going to saw off those horns on the sides of my head and take the saw with me in case I need it again.

-Okay, now just let the others know that I'll be away traveling.

~Front of the orphanage~

-Maya, stop hitting Alex!

-Lahes, come back here, what did I say about going out there without telling us!

-Mogh, get that finger out of your nose!

-Stop digging that hole, Anisha!

-It seems to be pretty calm around here.

-What? Oh, Miss Power, what brings you to the orphanage so early?

-I came here to let you know that I'll be traveling a lot, I'll be gone for a while.

-I see... If it's not too much to ask, could you please come back soon? And the kids will miss you a lot and will ask me a lot when you'll be back.

-I don't plan on being gone for long, I'll probably be gone for a month or so.

-What!? Big sister is leaving!? Please don't abandon us. -The kids start to gather around us with Maya hugging my leg tightly, looking like she doesn't want to let go.

-Look, big sister is only leaving town for a few days, I promise I'll come back and play a lot with all of you.

 -I'm so scared. -I say with my fingertips in my mouth and my eyes closed.

After finishing the promise, I start to leave the orphanage.

-Lahes? What's wrong?

-You're really not going to abandon us?

-Of course not, you're practically my family.

-And that's what people always say when they leave and never come back.
