Chapter 11

Y/N POV

Surprisingly my brother follwed me up until i closed the door. He started banging on my door and was asking me what happened to me and why i looked like such a mess. That went on for about 5 minutes. I finally decided to walk out, so he could get some peace of mind.

Y/N: Okay! okay! I'm coming out can you please stop banging on my door!

B/N: Finally! I was starting to get tired.

When i stepped outside he hugged me, warmly at that. That embrace made me break out in tears again, I felt like i was safe and finally let all my overwhelming emotions run wild. He rubbed my back patiently until i calmed down enough, to tell him why i was acting this way.

B/N: Are you ready to tell me now?

Y/N: Yes.. I am.

B/N: I haven't seen you cry like that in years. The last time i saw you cry like that was when our old neighbourhood cat died.

Y/N: Hahah, fortunately no one is dead. But before i tell you the actual reason you have to promise me you aren't going to over react or approach anyone who is involved.

B/N: Yea yea, I promise. Now tell me already!

Y/N: So like last year me and seungcheol had a thing going on but we couldn't see each other in that way since it was against the rules, so we promised to wait for each other. I knew that there was a chance that it wouldn't work out and that he may find someone else, but-

I choked up holding back anymore tears.

Y/N: I genuinely liked him, i know he liked me too. I know it would be selfish of me to "claim" him for myself but i still had hope in him. I hoped that he would wait...

I looked down at my feet fidgeting when the story came to an end.

B/N: Do you expect me to lecture you about boys again. Because i won't. I know you're reacting like this because you genuinely liked him. Whatever small interactions i've had with him in the gym, made him seem like a nice person. But what he did to you is unexceptable. Just you wait, i'll teach him a lesson.

Y/N: See! This is why i didn't want to tell you. I don't want you to do anything. All you need to do is just sit still and wait until i sort this out myself.

B/N: Okay....

I sighed as i went back to my room hoping that nothing would happen. *subtle foreshadowing*

~2 days later ~

Today was my last day at work. This was also the day I would tell everyone about the opening of my own salon and giving each of them an invitation. I headed to the staff room and i was just unpacking some supplies when i suddenly felt someone hug me from the back. So i said.

Y/N: Awww! Bomiii you're acting extra affectionate today!

My smile dropped as i turned to see that it was seungcheol. I quickly pushed him away clearly flustered. What angered me was that he started giggling. I looked at him now clearly annoyed.

Y/N: What are you thinking? What if someone saw us?

SC: There's nothing wrong with that. No one is here anyway, not like they'll see us.

Y/N: You have some nerve showing up and doing that to me while your seeing some other girl!

SC: What do you mean? You're the only girl i like.

Y/N: Honestly, just stop lying. I saw you the other night, walking with another girl while your arms were linked.

SC: Oh that!! That was my cousin. I swear i would never betray you, or your trust!

Y/N: Do you really think i'll believe you!

He didn't reply, instead he just pulled out his phone and called someone. The person that picked up was a girl.

*on the call**speaker*

SC: Hey!! How have you been sis!

??: We just met 2 days ago, why're you already calling?

SC: I just missed you so much! And also my baby niece.

??: Well, your niece and i, your dear sister also miss you. So now that you know, i'm hanging up! Bye!!

SC: Bye!

*end of call*

I looked down at my feet obviously embarresed at jumping to conclusions too quickly. Seungcheol just looked at me empathetically. Holding my hand so that i would look at him. He clearly tried his best to make comfortable in that kind of an awkward situation. He pulled me into a hug, this time from the front and i hugged him back.

I pulled back from the hug a litte so that i could talk to him but also while holding each other.

Y/N: The wait is over, today is my last day at work here.

I smiled at him warmly. He hugged me even tighter and lifted me up into the air and spun around in excitement. I laughed softly at his gesture and his excitement.
