Chapter 12

Y/N POV

Today was the day. The day my makeup studio finally opened and i could finally be with seungcheol. I invited all the members of seventeen, but i knew that not all of them would be able to make it. I also invited my brother of course and also bomi and a few other co-workers. Just when i was about to head to the studio i got a text message from someone.

SC: Hey :) Wanna go together ;)

Sure!! :y/n

When i opened the door to my apartment, he was standing right there. I was pretty surprised, but him being there for me made me feel a lot better. I was just about to hug him, when my stupid brother pulled me back. I whined in retaliation.

y/n: Let me go! Why'd you do that?!

b/n: You were crying over him a week ago and now you're all lovey dovey with him again?

He questioned me, raising one of his eyebrows in curiosity. When he said that, i covered my face with my hands in embarrassment. Seungcheol just stood there i peaked through my fingers to look at his expression. He was smiling at me softly, that definitely relieved a lot of my embarrassment. I looked at him returning his soft smile.

b/n: Eww, please stop don't ever do that in front of me ever again.

y/n: Don't worry, i'll keep him away from you!

Seungcheol chuckled at our exchange. My brother and i both turned our heads towards seungcheol in unison.

Author POV

Seunghceol felt shivers go down his spine as both of them stared at him with an intense gaze. Y/n looked at the time and it was almost time to open. She took seungcheols hand in her's and ran since they had to rush to reach the studio. Y/n's brother followed them closely as he sprinted too.

When they reached Bomi was already there, along with seungkwan, vernon, the8, dk, jeonghan, dino, hoshi and joshua. The others weren't able to make it since they were out on a schedule.

Y/N POV

I was so happy to have all of them there. It made me feel overwhelmed with happiness and i teared up. This was a big step in my life and i was so grateful to have all of them here with me. They all congratulated me and we had fun together we visited the café and had a nice lunch i told them about how i came up with the idea for the interior, and also how i managed to keep it a secret from everyone and even my own brother who i lived with.

After they left, i headed back to the apartment building with my brother and seungcheol. I didn't get much time to spend with seungcheol so i really wanted
to be alone with him for at least a little more time. The only hurdle, quite literally between us was my brother.

y/n: I wanna spend more time with you seungcheol!

SC: Me too, should we go on a walk?

I looked at him and then at my brother. I sighed as i said to my brother.

y/n: I'm gonna go on a walk with seungcheol for a little longer. You can go home without me. Seungcheol will drop me home after the walk so you don't need to worry.

b/n: Sure, you can go but i want to talk to seungcheol for a minute. Just the two of us.

I sighed as i nodded in agreement. At this point we almost reached the building. As both of them were talking i couldn't help but look at them skeptical about what they were talking about. Once they were done talking, seungcheol walked towards me and took my hand in his. I looked back at my brother who was looking at me with a heartfelt smile and i looked at him giving him an appreciative smile and mouthing 'thank you'.

I truned around feeling content at my brother's approval. I excitedly wrapped my hands around seungcheols arm, hugging it. I rested my head on his shoulder as we walked peacefully. He rested his head on mine. The weather was nice, the atmosphere was nice, everything was nice. We didn't talk on the while walking, we just held each other enjoying the nature around us.

Soon it was time for dinner and we decided to go to a small barbeque place. We finished up our food and headed back to the apartment.

y/n: This is nice..

SC: I agree. Eventhough we didn't talk much, this walk made me feel a lot better.

I hummed in reply. He must've noticed i'm tired as he insisted on giving me a piggy back ride. After he succesfully conviced me, i got on his back. I rested my head on his shoulder. The next thing i knew we were in front of the apartment. We got into the lift and i asked him to let me down.

I felt like today was a nice day, but i knew it was missing something. To make it the perfect day, i did something i never thought i would do. I stopped the lift so we could have some privacy. After i did that seungcheol questioned me in confusion, tilting his head slightly to the side.

SC: Why'd you do that?

y/n: To do this...

A/N

This chapter is longgg, it crossed 1000 words but i decided to break down the chapter. If i kept writing i might've even crossed 1200 words. But i'm saving it for the next chapter ;)).
