As of late, i've been wondering a lot about life. Was i a good person? Have i fulfilled my pourpuse in life? What exactly has gone wrong in the world?

Well, i think its fair i explain things, this place was once my lovely home; Sodor.
People come here for the wonderful views, the green forest, the sandy beaches, the rich story of the island, but mainly, the engines that live there. As you probably know, this place was a safe place for steam engines, and while some diesels do work here, steam still rules in this place.

I am the driver of one of these engines, a red engine, NWR's number 5, James. We primarily work on the mainline along a few other engines, mainly Gordon, Henry, Donald, Douglas, Emily and a few others, i would say they're friends, but most of the time, i think they just tolerate eachother enough to not want to kill eachother.

I guess James does get along with them on occasions, maybe Emily and Henry are the ones that he gets along with best, sometimes its hard for me to tell. He won't admit it, but i know he misses them the most, specially now.

And things haven't really been much interesting, other than Edward recently moving to Wellsworth sheds, and apparently the Fat Controller is looking for an engine to take over for Edward there.

I miss these simpler times.

like recently, as we delivered the last train we were supposed to take for the day, we were called in Knapford, James thought he would take a short passenger train after Gordon left with the express, but no.

Apparently, Percy had broken down, and while Thomas took him to the works, James was meant to help with the mail deliveries for him, and of course he hated that. And while i get it, i also wanted to head home, and i wasn't in the mood hearing James go on and on about "How no one will even see my red coat of paint!" or how "Im too imporant for this, and deserve a rest! Oliver or Edward should do this instead"

But i am paid to work here, so i we had to get to work.

At least i didn't had to deal with Thomas and Percy's complaining or arguing to eachother, let me tell you, James is depicted perfectly in the television series, specially since he barely ever learns from his mistakes.

It didn't help the express and Kipper were delayed, so we had to wait for them as well.

i was glad i only have to deal with one engine for the night.

That night, when i finally made it home, i took a moment to just watch the news, and apparently some sort of virus seemed to start spreading everywhere, i was too tired to pay much attention, and im pretty sure i fell asleep with the TV still on.
