The Marshall siblings watched as Kimberly ran into the barn wall and broke a few boards.

Hayley:scream let it out we're at an abandoned farm no one can hear you for miles.

Kimberly:easy for you to say wolf girl. None of you have ever turned twenty times in a row.

Levi:no but we've watched a bunch of your hybrid friends go through it.

Kimberly fell to the ground.

Kimberly:why does it have to be like this? Why break every bone over and over?

Sapphire:your grateful to klaus because he released you from the pain of having to turn every full moon so you need to keep turning until it doesn't hurt then you have nothing to be grateful for.

Kimberly:what's in all this for you?

The siblings looked at each other then back at Kimberly.

Levi:I don't hear bone's cracking.

Tyler walked into the barn.

Tyler:Caroline bought us another day. Klaus wants to go with her to Miss mystic falls.

Sapphire:so does that mean we're going?

Tyler:watching klaus fawn over Caroline at some lame ass pageant? No thanks.

Hayley:oh come on! We need to hide what's going on here by pretending sapph was the one that broke you two up.

Levi:besides isn't it at your house?

Kimberly let out a loud scream making them turn to her.

Kimberly:guys like this isn't torture enough! Can you take it outside?!

Hayley turned back to Tyler and batted her eyes.

Tyler:fine. We'll go. Wear a dress and a tux.

Hayley smiled and Tyler walked out.

Sapphire:hayls.

Hayley:don't.

The four walked over to the table which held the tiara.

Hayley:I can't believe that I won.

Hayley put the tiara on her head.

Hayley:I just wanna thank the judges for seeing past the fact that I'm a raging bitch.

Sapphire and Levi laughed.

Sapphire:well that's accurate.

Tyler:you don't wanna do that those girl's will cut you. They have nails.

Hayley:i have claws.

Hayley took the tiara off and put it on the table.

Levi and Tyler sat on the stone steps while Hayley and sapphire were drunkenly dancing.

Levi:your mom parties harder then you do. I forget is she the one with the gene?

Tyler shook his head.

Tyler:dad. What about your parents?

Levi:never met em. Our adoptive parents found out about my wolf gene when i did. The night that I turned and tore apart their living room. they promptly kicked me out. Hayley and sapphire didn't want to leave me so they came with.

Tyler:you never told me how it triggered.

Levi:you mean who i killed?

Tyler nodded.

Levi:my best friend since kindergarten. He started bullying me completely out of the blue. One day he invited me over to his house claiming he wanted to apologize. I went and i ended up getting jumped then I blacked out. I woke up with their blood all over me.

Tyler gave Levi a sympathetic look.

Tyler:so what's with you and your sister's chatting up all these old timers. My mom,that professor guy.

Levi:that professor guy is like thirty.

Hayley drunkenly stumbled over to them.

Hayley:and he's hot and smart.

Hayley giggled.

Tyler:you know him or something?

Hayley was going to say something but sapphire came over and dragged her back onto the dance floor.

Levi:no we just met him why?

Tyler:no reason.

Tyler looked over to where klaus and Caroline were talking.

Levi:what's he saying?

Tyler:a bunch of bs about being human. The sooner we get rid of this guy the better.

Levi:we got another one.

The Marshall siblings smiled.

Shane:good. we're almost ready.

Hayley:we want to leave Tyler out of this when it all goes down.

Shane:we'll talk when you've broken the last one.
