Part 8

The Marshall siblings sat at a bar.

Jane Anne:third time in here this week.

Levi:I'm obsessed with the gumbo Jane Anne and I'm not the only one.

Levi looked at his older sister sapphire who was eating gumbo.

Jane Anne:You know the ladies in the 9th ward say my sister Sophie bleeds a piece of her soul into every dish.

Jane Anne glances across the room at her sister.

Hayley:we asked around the Quarter about our family.

Jane Anne:and?

Levi:Nothing zero. We can't find a single person who remembers them.

Jane Anne:Because people like you were run out of here years ago.

Sapphire pulled herself away from her meal.

Sapphire:What do you mean people like us?

Jane Anne walks around the bar to stand beside the Marshall siblings. Jane Anne sets a map on the bar.

Jane Anne:In the bayou, they call the werewolves Roux-Ga-Roux.

She circles a point on the map.

Jane Anne:You head out there, you'll find what you're looking for. Be careful. It's the last place you'd ever want to go.

Sapphire takes the map and the three siblings smile at Jane Anne then leave.

Sapphire was driving towards the circle on the map while Hayley was in the passenger seat and Levi sat in the back. Sapphire parked the car and looked at the map.

Hayley:this it?

Sapphire:I think so-

Sapphire was cut off by the map setting on fire.

Levi:what the hell?!

Hayley grabbed the map and threw it out the window. Sapphire put the car in reverse then it stopped working.

Sapphire:are you kidding me?!

The three got out of the car. Sapphire dialed a number on her phone.

Sapphire:hey I'm looking for a tow service.

Sapphire's phone produces an ear piercing noise. Levi heard it and quickly smacked the phone away from his older sister's ear and stepped on it breaking it. Shadowy figures began approaching the siblings when sapphire suddenly passed out and fell to the ground.

Hayley:sapph!
Levi:sapph!

Hayley and Levi were knocked out from behind while Sophie held sapphire.

Sophie walked into the cemetery with Elijah following her.

Sophie:We can talk freely here.

Elijah:then I suggest you start talking. What did your sister want with Niklaus?

Sophie:Isn't it obvious? We have a vampire problem and we need help. Marcel has an army backing him. The witches have been trying to fight back. We haven't had much luck until my sister Jane Anne met a girl a werewolf passing through the quarter with her siblings from a small town in Virginia. She had a special connection to your brother.

Elijah:What kind of connection?

Sophie:Apparently they spent some time together. One thing led to another and now this special werewolf girl she's pregnant. And the father of the child she's carrying is your brother Klaus.
