(moral of the shot: yesterday was 4s birthday so his boyfriend smg3 obviously bought him some gifts but his main present was to go shopping with 3.)
smg4: EEEEEEE I'M SO EXCITED THREE!
4 was giggling uncontrollably and couldn't seem to shift the beaming smile plastered across
his face. They were holding hands and 4 was looking at all of the shops around him, his eyes wide and pretty.
smg4: OMG THAT TOY STORE LOOKS MASSIVE!
3 chuckled and looked at his silly boyfriend who was bouncing up and down on the spot.
3 darted off with his hand still holding onto 4s as they raced happily to the toy store, giggling with every step they took. Once they had arrived at the shops, 4s eyes grew big and he looked adorable.
"alright you gorgeous goofball, here's my card, get whatever you like, no matter the price! I'll be here just wandering around the shops whilst you run around and buy anything you like, okay?" 3 kindly said, passing his boyfriend his credit card. The blue meme guardian greatfully took it with a huge grin on his face.
"Really!? Thanks babe!!" He planted a quick but loving kiss on the purple guardians blushing cheek and dashed off down the toy isle.
"such a baka." 3 muttered to himself, rolling his ruby eyes teasingly.
"what did I do to deserve such a beautiful boyfriend like him?" 3 sighed, opening his gold heart necklace that contained a picture of the pair of them and gazed at it. He closed it with a smile and went down a separate isle that had Christmas items.
(AUTHORS NOTE: hmm... gold heart necklace? could this be my way of foreshadowing a future oneshot? 😉)
smg4 looked at all of the toys with hearts in his eyes, just like a little kid. Above all of the products, there was a rainbow LED love heart light. 4s eyes locked onto the item and wanted it more than anything! He checked around for any staff before clambering up the rickety ladder than would help him be able to reach. He strained his arm to reach it and grabbed it happily. Still standing on the top of the ladder, he looked down at the other isles and more excitement kicked in. He began to climb down but his foot slipped...
3 had some ideas in mind of what to buy 4 for Christmas but didn't buy anything since 4 would've seen them and it would've ruined the surprise. He went to go look for his partner and saw the ladder he was standing on, shaking and 4 starting to plummet down to the floor with the LED light being grasped firmly in his hands. 3s heart dropped as he sprinted towards him with open arms, ready to catch him. 4s scream pierced through his boyfriends ears. Although he probably wouldn't have been madly injured, seeing as though the fall wasn't that long, the panic still induced.
"don't worry, I got you."
3 caught 4 and was holding him bridal style, looking at him unimpressed but a small faint smile tugging on his lips.
"haha, umm I uhhh." 4 stuttered sheepishly, showing 3 the LED light just like he showed him his 'cool meme collection' when they first got the Showgrounds. (please say you get the reference 🙏)
"well i uhhh. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to fall and uhhh... haha I erm I saw... this cool light thingy and I uhhh.. haha ermmmmm... I wanted it but you know... my legs... too short..... heh... I used the...uhhh ladder....heh." 4 said nervously with a forced smile on his face. Cold sweat dripped down his eyes yet he pretended not to notice. 3 took the light and gently tossed it without looking, into a shopping trolley behind them.
The purple meme guardian couldn't help but notice himself glancing from 4s lips, then back up to his sapphire eyes.
"Just shut up and kiss me!" 3 blurted out, too flustered by 4s silliness.
Too stunned to speak and embracing the sudden action, 4 kissed him back. His hands running through 3s hair after taking off his hat and chucking it into the shopping cart for now. 3 still held 4 in the bridal position but was leaning down in order to capture his soft lips passionately. Despite 3 having both his hands occupied and not being able to caress 4s cheek or hold his waist as he usually would, he still managed to convey his deep, everlasting love for his blue meme guardian. 4 slung both arms around 3s neck as he affectionately kept his lips locked against his boyfriends. Their eyes both closed, both intensely enjoying their tender kiss. 3 could hear 4s warm heartbeat gradually growing back to its regular beating pattern. 4 straddled his legs around 3s waist whilst the purple meme guardian kept one arm underneath him to prevent himself from dropping his precious boyfriend. With his unoccupied hand, he cupped 4s cheek and caressed it adoringly, 4 placed his hands on both 3s cheeks and rubbed his thumb over them. Their warm chests pressed against each other giving off a sense of security and love. 4 reluctantly pulled away, gasping for air whilst staring deeply into 3s eyes, getting completely lost in them. 4 gazed at 3 with his half lidded eyes giving off flirtatious vibes. 3 gently placed him down, yet not letting go of his waist.
"didn't know my silliness flustered you so much." 4 cocked a brow with a huge smirk.
"s-shutup baka." 3 muttered, burying his flushed his flushed face into 4s warm shoulder. 4 threw his arms around him and embraced him lovingly. He then picked him up and placed him in the shopping cart, placing his hat back on the top of his messy hair.
"let's go to the check out!" 4 exclaimed, pushing the trolley that contained his LED light and his flustered boyfriend.
"already? is that all you want? you can buy literally anything and everything." 3 questioned confusedly, holding onto the sides of the cart.
"i already have the one thing I love most and I don't need anything else!" 4 smiled, picking up the pace and running up and down isles, pushing the cart quickly. 3 picked up the LED light and tried to figure out why 4 loved it so much.
'he loves this light more than anything? strange, but what ever makes him happy I guess' 3 whispered to himself.
"no not the light, silly! it's you!" 4 beamed happily and arrived at the checkout. He placed down the light and used 3s card to pay for it. 3 sat there in the shopping cart with his face growing red and his eyes widening in realization.
"it's you who I love most. More than anyone or anything." 4 said softly, helping 3 clamber out of the cart by offering both of his hands.
"really? more than memes?" 3 cheekily asked, expecting 4 to stutter and have to think about it for a minute or two.
"most definitely more than memes, they don't come anywhere close to the amount of love I feel for you." 4 admitted proudly and looked at his lover with both hands resting in 3s. The purple meme guardian was lost for words and gently rubbed his thumbs over 4s warm hands.
"god you're adorable 4, i love you so freaking much."
