Chapter 52 To the Heart Kingdom

"A devils curse in the Heart Kingdom?" Seresu sits on the benches outside the Black Bull guild seeing that after Asta's groups journey to a Curse Specialist they found new information of their next investigation

"Yeah but are you sure you want to give us the Diamond Kingdom one? You kinda found about that information yourself." Vanessa asks knowing that she is also doing this mission since it is tied to Asoka's disappearance

"Yes, while that some of them owe Asoka and as much that I would want to punch a word out of them, I think I would have a best finding if i'll go with them to the Heart Kingdom... The Diamond Kingdom gets threats from the Spade all the time anyway..." Seresu sighs while the witch nods

"What about your brother? has he found anything while monitoring the border?" Noelle asks

Seresu frowns about the thought that her brother still went back to the dangerous position but she remembered why,

"He said that he's been working on getting someone out from the Spade... I want to ask him but contacts are minimum." Seresu answered

"Hey... thanks for helping us out finding our sister, we owe you guys more than a lot... really..." Asta tells Seresu and she nods

"Let it be known that I'm not doing this because she was my servant, or because she harmed my brother... Something clearly has gone wrong and none of any motive matches up for as long as she's been my friend... and she still is..." Seresu frowns thinking of Asoka and the last time she had seen her was when she felt that she had killed her under a reincarnation spell

She thought that she had really lost her that day...

"Oh right, You said that you also investigated Asoka's room. Did you find anything?" Magna asked standing beside his customized transport Crazy Cyclone

"She made another wall that separates a part of her room yea, turns out she already had a thought about the elves being in some knights saying that she could feel a surge of forbidden magic." Seresu looks at Asta

"She was also looking into your power, actually hearing that you actually got it from a Devil made it more sense-" Seresu stopped when she thought of something and stood up

"What if she went to Spade to learn more about a devils power? Knowing you... her brother born with no magic... suddenly gained one..." Seresu hypothesized making Asta clench his fist

"If she really wanted to know then she should have asked! There was no reason-" Seresu cut him off

"But you don't know where it came from or how you got it other than the appearance of your Grimoire..." Seresu wanted it to be real because this theory is the only one matching with Asoka's personality

"She wanted to know in case it'll do you harm in the future... Hah... Learning medicine, learning how to sew... Basically Learning just about anything...She always goes out of her way to do things for her family..." Seresu puts her hair back positive about this theory

"But Hold on... If that really is the case did she have to go far to kidnap a Magic Knight?" Vanessa asked as Rouge meows

Seresu puts her hand to her face going down as she sighs.

"Trust me... I think about it all the time, I swear to you Asta.. mark my words... The first thing I'm telling her is how much she made you all worried..." Seresu tells Asta who nods sadly also thinking about his sister

His sister who believes in him and Yuno but also his sister who can't trust her family to help her... Always shouldering things she shouldn't be doing alone.
